“A beautiful and historic country club on lovely grounds. They have both a friendly and professional staff. There is a piano both upstairs and downstairs, multiple fireplaces, and multiple bars. They feature what looked like a very nice pool, though I wasn't able to check it out due to the inclement weather. Arnold Palmer is featured extensively throughout, both in pictures and in name. I appreciated the fresh cut flowers throughout the building!”

“This is a great place for BBQ! I had the pulled pork dinner with fries, baked beans, and cole slaw. The pulled pork was definitely my favorite part of the meal, but everything was really good! There is a good amount of meat in the baked beans also. The meal was very good and filling! The bread that is made fresh is also amazing and a must have! I swear it's the best pasta dish I have ever eaten at a restaurant! We even split one order onto two plates and it is still enough for 1 person... Seriously delicious. The one thing that I would suggest is detail cleaning the restrooms daily. The door is very dirty, and it is right by the front door, not a great first impression”

My girlfriend had the mahi mahi and she thought it was delicious and tender. She also enjoyed the sweet potato waffle fries. I had the Tavern Burger with fries. The beef was fresh and perfectly cooked (medium). The gouda cheese, over-easy egg and bacon made a perfect combination for taste. The fries were hot, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The service was great. Kerry was very friendly and personable and well-prepared, considering we opened the place. We plan to visit more often now that we've discovered that this restaurant has a wide variety of quality items on their menu.”
