“We wandered around the lake and stumbled upon The Boathouse on a busy Sunday evening. The restaurant was lively! A few tables for outdoor seating, and a handful indoors if you prefer to enjoy the AC. Our server, Megan, was attentive, and made sure we were taken care of. I ordered the cheeseburger (came with fries), and my fiancé ordered the patty melt. The cheeseburger was good. The meals were very generously sized. Their house salsas are really good - both green and red are served with chips as a compliment to your meal. We ordered a lot of beef dishes this visit and all dishes came out cooked perfectly! The meat was so tender and savory and paired well with their yummy bean soup and rice. If you are into mixology, they have awesome cocktails. The presentation of their drinks are great and even better taste great! Their staff is always attentive and really make an effort to make your experience great. They even pack your food for you too if you need to go bags and containers. Overall the ambiance is family friendly and they have several locations across the metroplex.”

“We have been meaning to try this place for a while. Mediterranean food it's hard to beat for a healthy choice. We knew that it was a buffet. Some places can pull this off well and others not so much. They did a good job here and the food was constantly fresh and the variety was excellent. From their salads, hummus selection, pita bread always fresh, to their great Meats, we were very impressed. The decor in atmosphere was beautiful and the place was very well kept. It is totally self-serve from the minute you walk in. You seat yourself and Serve Yourself water or tea. No one will ask you or instruct you so you have to figure it out. That was fine with us as we were dining with a very close friend of ours that we meet monthly so we were able to have an interrupted conversations. Now this is a very nice place but I would not call it fine dining. However we loved it. The food quality was excellent in the choices plentiful. We will go there again. I noticed that you can also order to go and they weigh it to charge you. I think you will like it.”

“I have been to The Common Table before but this was the first time I was there for the Hip Hop Brunch and it did not disappoint! I frequent The Star and would hear the music for the brunch and thought it sounded like an amazing vibe so when a girlfriend and I were looking for places to have our weekly brunch this was the first place I thought of. Fortunately, she and I plan our brunches in advance so I got online and had no problem getting a reservation. I really wanted to be outside, but due to the Texas summer heat I couldn't risk it and decided to opt for a table inside. I arrived about 5 minutes early and was seated right away. Fortunately, we were sat in the far back away from the DJ because, let me tell you, the place is very cozy and the music was pretty loud so you could hear it inside and out. You definitely felt like you were at the club - everyone in the restaurant was laughing, dancing and having an amazing time. Even one of the waiters got in on the fun and started dancing by one of the tables. All of it created such a fun and entertaining experience. There were only two of us so we didn't order one of the towers, but there was one at almost every table that had a group. I've never been to a brunch spot with more drink than food options and there were some really unique drinks and tons of fun variety - I guarantee there's something for everyone. I had the tropical mimosa (light and tasty) and my friend had both a white and red Skittles sangria with the red being stronger than the white but she enjoyed them both! She and I decided to split the chicken biscuit and even though it cost an extra $1.50 it was 100% the right decision. Splitting the meal gave each of us our own egg and it was the perfect portion of food. And I can't forget our server, Jada, who was super sweet and attentive even though this place was SUPER crowded. I cannot wait to have a chance to go back with a group so I can enjoy one of those mimosa towers.”

“Our first visit to the Carrollton Cane Rosso location wasn't a good one but Frisco definitely compensated for our first disappointment. We had a great first time visit here and we definitely will be back again. The staff was very friendly. Our bartender even came over to check to see if we were happy with our drink, and offered to make it over. We sat at the counter tops where we could watch the pizza being prepared and it was so much fun. We interacted with the staff and even had some laughs with them.”

“Picked up an order from here yesterday of about a dozen donuts and there almost all gone already! All the donuts had such good flavor while still being light and fluffy. Since it was towards the end of the business day they threw in extra donut holes which was incredibly nice. I’m a very big fan of blueberry donuts and Jane’s donuts had the best one I’ve ever had. It maintained the blueberry flavor while not making it overly dense. I definitely plan to go back and try a wider variety of their foods. Also the interior of their store was so cute!”

“My family introduced me to this place as they went there for lunch. My Dad raves about the gyros (who has high standards for gyro meat) and my Mom was a fan of the spicy chicken plate. I tried the plan with them during dinner and I will now be a regular. You can tell they use fresh olive oil and even sell their olive oil in bottles. The rice was flavorful and the hummus was up there with the best hummus I had. I normally do not eat salad but it was well dressed and a great compliment to the meat and rice. The s falafel is the best falafel I have ever had in my entire life.I had to placed an extra order after destroying the appetizer. The baklava had such a unique almost cinnamon bun like taste, I loved it so much I got one to go for my significant other. Additionally, the service was phenomenal and the person who took our order was very deliberate in taking good care of the place and keeping things orderly. “The only thing iffy about the place is the music, which after 5 minutes seems cool anyway, haha. The servers were really nice and knew the menu well! The drink in the photo is their masala chai. For those un-aquainted with authentic chai, it might seem weird. But it was unique and had a beautiful, flavorful scent. As for the dishes, I went in time for the lunch combo and got Yellow Dal Tadka and Paneer Tikka Masala (vegetarian options). SO GOOD AND FLAVORFUL!!! The Tikka Masala was flavorful and rich, and they weren't stingy with the paneer (which was the best paneer I've ever had)!! As for the Yellow Dal Tadka, that was my favorite 😍. It was a lentil dish which had a comforting texture resemblant to porridge but it was so smooth. It was also very flavorful and beautifully spiced! Such a pleasing dish! I'm from out of state but I know if I'm ever in the area again, I am definitely coming back!!!”
