“This is the best daycare!!! My kid loves his teachers! He comes home talking about his day and how much fun he had. They also teach them very very well. His 3rd day there he was already identifying shapes! Staff is also very welcoming and friendly. They take the time to get to know every single kid personally and communication is great!”

“The thing is, this school is amazing. I absolutely love it and couldn't have asked for a better learning environment for me to spend my middle school years in. I absolutely adore my teachers, and I feel the kids here are really well-rounded and treat each other pretty well (even the jocks aren't too bad). Some kids cause trouble here, but all kids/teens do that, and many do it in an innocent (but nevertheless mischievous) way. Here's the problem. Some admin and elective teachers aren't the best. The admin here are nice, but they don't always step in when necessary, and ironically, can get too knit-picky sometimes. I feel like they just don't support and care for us well enough to be considered "sufficient". Some of the elective teachers are also oblivious, and just ignore obvious concerns or problems presented in different situations. Also, it seems like they don't understand anything outside their little world, and don't give any thought to other classes students may have. This goes for many teachers, such as CORE class teachers, who sometimes don't consider the scheduled assignments and workload given to us from other classes. This brings us to another problem... scheduling. This school has awful schedules, and many extracurricular activities have vague directions attached to them, which doesn't help at all. In fact, the broadcast team (that I'm part of) suffers much of this scheduling abuse. Our team doesn't get nearly enough scheduling information about different events to prepare correctly to film them. broadcast is at the bottom of the barrel in priority for the school, and always gets neglected as if an afterthought. Our emails sent always get answers long after they matter, and any requests we make are answered warily or vaguely. Back to scheduling... the events at this school sometimes don't line up, and the timings of the different assignments given to us don't always come at good times and aren't distributed throughout the year properly. This causes a lot of stress for students who have to do a lot of work on one day just so the next day would be a little easier to handle. For example, there will be days when we have absolutely no homework, and then the next day--BAM! We get 5 hours of homework to do in one day. It's really scary every day to go to school because you won't know how much homework you're going to get. The homework given at this school can be unnecessary and excessive. Like, some of the assignments we get here waste our time more than teaching us something at all. Lastly, this school doesn't have the money (or doesn't budget the money correctly enough) to replace much of the old equipment and technology we have here, and I find this bothering. Frisco ISD is pretty rich! So, what's preventing the money from coming where it's needed direly at this school? It seems like a conundrum to me, and I feel that it prevents us from having a better experience we could have had if only we had newer stuff. But other than these complaints, I THINK THIS SCHOOL IS AMAZING AND DESERVES MORE RECOGNITION!”

“Last year was my girls' (2 and 4) first year to attend Kid Care and we LOVED IT!! It was such a warm and inviting atmosphere, which is what we were needing after some experiences at our previous MDO. I started subbing in several of the classes in October and it made me so much more excited about everything my girls were getting. Learning about Jesus's love AND preparing them for kinder. This year I signed on to be a part of the staff full time. I love teaching at Kid Care, I love my girls attending Kid Care, I love being a part of their family!!”

They are wonderful teachers and educators who love your children as their own. I miss their smiling faces and appreciate the values they taught my little one.”

Little Harts Preschool

“Our daughter has spent the last year at Little Harts and I can't say enough wonderful things about them. The teachers, Rosanne, & Carol(the pony lady) are all the most caring and loving ladies you'll ever meet, and the experiences our daughter has had at Little Harts don't compare to any other Preschool around. She gets to cook, garden, paint, play instruments, do science projects, ride horses, play with the animals. Just this week she brought home carrots, potatoes, green beans, peas, & radishes that she had planted earlier in the year, helped take care of, and then harvested. How neat is that!?? Besides the amazing things they do with the children, they've taught her to start reading, she knows all of her letters & numbers, she can write her name, she can count to 100, and she can identify all colors and most shapes. It's been the best and most memorable preschool experience we could have imagined, and I feel she is more than prepared for Kindergarten. I would HIGHLY recommend Little Harts to anyone looking for an outstanding preschool. They also have WONDERFUL Summer Camps run by Miss Carol.”

“We had our daughter’s birthday party at The Little Gym of Plano and we are members there. The staff is always SO kind, gym is always so clean and sanitized, and they took care of ALL our guests. I would highly recommend being a member or having your party here! The whole space is just for your guests which is also a nice perk. They also set up the whole party for us beforehand.”

Allen High School

Address: 300 Rivercrest Blvd, Allen, TX 75002, USA

School

“Best high school in Texas with the biggest band, best football team, and most expensive stadium. Students at this school have access to the best of everything, including education. They just need to take the initiative to take advantage of it. The only criticism I have is that it's almost impossible for unambitious students to fail in on-level (not AP/IB) classes. It takes an active effort to get less than an A, especially in History.”

Wonderland Montessori of McKinney

Address: 3132 Hudson Crossing, McKinney, TX 75070, USA

School

“I have two children that attend Wonderland Montessori Academy of Mckinney. My daughter who is 4 years old has had such an improvement that is beyond my expectations her teachers take the time to teach one on one as she sometimes gets distracted and needs that extra attention. My son who is almost 2 loves going everyday to school and he loves everyone. The stuff is extremely nice and as a parent I feel very confident and assure to leave my children with people that care and love what they do and I know that my children are safe. The level of the teachers and the quality of the Montessori work provided is excellent. I am very thankful to everyone that dedicate their time, and their love to take care of children.”

She is excelling in school and even entered the gifted program in school. She is way above her grade level. Ms Varsha is also very accommodating / flexible with the scheduling when we need to change days due to conflicts with other activities. We are recommend Murphy Learning Center.”

The one thing I like the most is that the teachers have worked there for a long time. My son has the same teachers as my daughter. Overall a great day school for your kids!”

“My daughter has been going to SafeSplash for a little over a year and I must say, it has been an amazing experience. The instructors are highly skilled and knowledgeable, always making the classes enjoyable and educational. They have a way of encouraging and motivating the kids, which has resulted in a noticeable improvement in her swimming abilities. The facilities are well-maintained and clean, providing a safe and comfortable environment for the kids to learn. I highly recommend SafeSplash to anyone looking for a quality swim program in the McKinney/ Frisco area. The instructors + front office + back office (especially Natasha, Alex, Angel and Hafza) are truly exceptional and play a huge role in making this a fantastic experience for all. I myself enrolled for adult classes as I wanted to learn specific things (I knew to swim before) and Angel did an amazing job to teach me those skills.”

“Our family loves LCA! The most unique aspect of this school is the strong focus on mentoring, connecting students, and bringing them closer to Jesus. Admittedly, when we first enrolled our kids, I thought the Higher Ground (chapel) program was neat, but our kids were already invested in our church, so I could take it, or leave it. I quickly learned that the Student Life department is the heart of LCA--they are purposeful, intentional, and genuine, and their goal is to build relationships (student-to-student, mentors, teacher-student, adult volunteer-student) so that students have many God-loving people to walk through life with, and to ultimately strengthen their faith walk. Our family decided to send our younger kids to LCA BECAUSE of this program--the program I could take or leave? Yes, it really is that good! I have had the pleasure of watching my kids grow and strengthen their relationship with the Lord, and I am so thankful. Students must invest, of course. If they choose to go all in, they'll be surrounded with the most caring and wonderful people, and they'll grow in their faith in ways they never imagined. If they don't commit, these same people will still love them, pray for them, and walk with them through life. I focus on this aspect of LCA because it is what makes it unique. We also have qualified and caring teachers, high-level academics, and excellent athletics and arts programs. These are all excellent and noteworthy, but at the end of the day, the character of your kids is far more important than all of the other stuff. They'll get it all at LCA! Though no school is perfect, I wouldn't choose to send my kids to any other school.”
