“My band, grey star ghost, just finished recording and mixing our debut album with Michael at Civil Audio. Michael is professional and efficient with your time while still being personable and providing a relaxing atmosphere. He has a fantastic ear and will point out things from an outside perspective that will make your sound better. He's encouraging and complimentary while still at times letting you know if something could be better, which is incredibly valuable because you know that when he's happy with something you will be happy with it. In the mixing and mastering process he works quickly and addresses your feedback directly while also giving his perspective on what will sound best. It is truly a collaborative effort which to me produces the best results. I am super picky about the sound I'm going for and working with Michael, we were able to nail it. At the same time I would often use words like atmospheric, sound scapey, ethereal, dirty, and dark - which if I were in his shoes would drive me crazy - but he got it. If you're wanting a great sounding recording at a difficult to beat cost, you'd be hard pressed to top Civil Audio. We plan on going back for the next one.”

On another occasion, they remodeled the kitchen in the adjoining apartment to our house. Everyone that sees that cabinetry work compliments on it! I especially enjoyed their 'Wizard of Oz' collectibles in the upper room and the pink tea room that reminds me of Umbridge's office from Harry Potter. “I own a Boat Rental company and i was redoing carpet on a large pontoon for the first time, i had trouble sourcing out 8.5ft wide carpet. After weeks of searching I happen to come across their website, initially spoke with Demetrius, he had the carpet i was looking for. He took the time to explain to me the industry tips and tricks to get the job done right. He could’ve easily just sold me the carpet and said good luck, but he went above and beyond. When i went to pick up the carpet, his employee Josh took the time out of his day to show me exactly what equipment they use and how to install the carpet step by step. Just overall amazing people. “Andrew’s refinished 3 chairs, 2 bench seats, and a large cedar chest for me. The pieces originally belonged to my Grandmother. One chair even dates back to the 1950s. Andrew’s returned them to their original glory! They did an amazing job from start to finish. From design (Allen is amazing!), to pick up and delivery, to their craftsmanship. “When you are in the mood to take some time & shop this is a great place! There are many individual booths inside Painted Tree with a wide variety of new, used & repurposed items. Each shopping aisle has a unique name posted as if it were a street. This makes it very convenient if you need help getting something that is not easily accessible. It is organized well & many vendors have a general theme in their area. We found the shops clean & organized. This is a great place to look for gifts. If you want to see everything be prepared to spend some time here. See if you can find the lucky penny embedded in the floor. :)”

“Such a nice store! I was immediately greeted by Kyle, who was so friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to purchase two albums (on sale even!) which had been published in the early ‘80’s and had been on my wishlist for a long time. Most of the books I looked at were paperbacks, but they had a nice big variety of titles available. I almost missed the “more shopping” room at the back. They’ve got lots of cool, vintage posters and some collectibles. Like the Terminator, I’ll be back! Thanks much, Kyle, for the smiles. They were enjoyed and appreciated.”
