La Isla Restaurant

Restaurant

“Hubby & I haven't been here in probably 10-12 years. Last time we dined here, we left disappointed 😞 The quality of food was not very good at all. So, while we were in Arlington today, we decided to give this place another try. We are so glad we did! My beef enchilada plate was delicious and hubby loved his bistec tacos with charro beans 😋 The chips and salsa were good too 👍 Service was great. Be sure to enjoy a Mexican Coke while you're there 😉”

Daiquiri Dash

Address: 2801 E Pioneer Pkwy Suite 100, Arlington, TX 76010, USA

Restaurant

“The server Tish allowed me to sample all of the flavors and even let me mix flavors to sample. I created a drink with banana and mango and a 3rd flavor (I forgot which one) but it was very good. The dirty rice was delicious, the meat on the turkey leg slide off the bone. I was not a fan of the mac & cheese. My plate cost $23 but it was enough food for two meals.”

Pluckers Wing Bar

Address: 4000 Bagpiper Way #140, Arlington, TX 76018, USA

Restaurant

“Pluckers is known for their wings, wing sauces, and side dishes but over the years, their wing quality has been going down... Lately, the wings have been coming out cold, shriveled, not crispy.. Extra sauce is one whole dollar extra.. And the prices have gone way up. This location is pretty popular and gets packed every day at around 5pm, no matter if there is a game or not playing. Once there is a game showing, good luck getting a seat because people come early to secure a table and will sit throughout the whole game to watch the entire thing. Cleaning is good. When they clean, they clean not only the tables but the seats as well and sweep underneath the tables. Service is great. During my last visit, I left something on the table. My boyfriend got a text inquiring on the item and I hadn't even realized it at the time that I forgot it over there! After he responded confirming the item, they messaged saying their manager will hand it to me. I picked it up at the restaurant and the manager personally handed it back--I checked and everything looked ok. Our waitresses have also been consistently friendly”

Troy's

Address: 1650 E Randol Mill Rd STE 100, Arlington, TX 76011, USA

Restaurant

“This place was fun! Once it got kinda busy the service was slow but the food was pretty decent. I think I enjoyed the service more than the food. Our waitress was great and friendly. I loved the perfume she was wearing and she happened to give us the bottle to take back with us since we were from out of town. I liked how close it was to the baseball stadium so we just went to the game directly from there.”

Starbucks

Address: 3900 Arlington Highlands Blvd, Arlington, TX 76018, USA

Cafe Restaurant Store

“Serenity is so awesome! Serenity was so kind and professional, I just had to ask her name to mention in my review because you don’t come across genuinely kind people like that everyday. I came today for a chai tea latte and I had to be a klutz and somehow spilled over half on my way out the door. I felt so bad and apologized profusely and a very kind gentleman that also worked here helped me clean my mess. I hate I didn’t get his name as well to mention because he was also very kind but the main point of this review is not about my clumsiness. Serenity made my order and before I spilled it, I tasted it and it was really great! Well I did get a new drink and it was really good too! I’ve had food and drinks here other times as well and the atmosphere it great. This is a bigger cafe with ample seating. I would say this location is comfortable and inviting. Thank you to all the awesome people at this location.”

Bayou Cat

Address: 2505 E Arkansas Ln STE 131, Arlington, TX 76010, USA

Restaurant

“This placed was packed on a Saturday afternoon. The line was long (all the way around to the door), but it moved along alright. The line was long the whole time we dined here. We had 2 orders of Boiled Crawfish w/ Potatoes, Corn and Sausage, Butterfly Shrimp, and Corn Dog. The Crawfish boil sides come with extra charge. The crawfish was good and spicy. My kids liked their shrimp and corn dog. They offer bags of New Orleans style chips and drinks in a fridge. It took a while for our food to come out, but it was understandable due to the long lines.”

“If I could give the place an extra star I would! This is theosr authentic spot of found in Arlington, so far. The atmosphere is very chill and the restaurant is very clean, including the bathrooms. Tonight we ordered guacamole as a starter, followed by two taco specials (3 tacos, rice and beans) and 3 additional tacos on the side to try the meats. We tried asada, tripa, barbacoa, lengua, and carnitas. They did not disappoint! Out of those five the carnitas was my fave. And the guac is the freshest I've ever had in any restaurant. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more plates. BTW, the waitresses were very kind and gave prompt service.”

Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q

Address: 451 I-20, Arlington, TX 76018, USA

Restaurant

“I have driven past here a number of times off the I-20 in Arlington. I drove up from Stephenville with my son and decided to stop by. We are definitely barbecue fanatics and we're excited about finding a new BBQ joint. Rudy's is a cool place to visit. The interior is fun and eclectic and smells of barbecue. That's always a good sign. Just like any other BBQ place you order at the counter and can buy meat by the pound. Their prices are pretty good. I ordered a brisket slice sandwich and my son had the chopped brisket sandwich. Both were really good. However, the brisket is not as smokey as I like it but that's okay. It was still good. Next time I want to try out their smoked turkey. Rudy's is a fun place to visit and is right off the freeway. Definitely worth checking out. We didn't go into the store part. We'll do that next time.”
