“This is a great place to go with a group of people. Do it family style, have everyone get something different and share. All of the food here is great but the Cabbage Pierogies are definitely my favorite. The atmosphere is calm and really cool and the staff are very friendly and accommodating and I've found it's not easy to not have a good time here. They remodeled since last time I went so they can now accommodate more seating. Just keep in mind this is not a fast food place, they cook everything to order and it is all homemade. When I have a craving, I usually try to find more authentic, hole in the wall places, which usually lead me more towards the Dallas side of town. With that being said, when I have a craving for Chinese American, my go to place in Arlington is Sesame House Express. The owners here have been serving the 76017/76013 area consistently for almost 20 years. They are some of the most committed, and nicest people around. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous! If you’ve never been, go give them a visit. Times are tough for everyone right now, including local restaurants. Don’t forget to show this little gem some love and appreciation!”

When my food was ready, she brought me the food and had a little serving tray with different sauces and asked if I wanted spicy or reg. Ketchup! When I was finished I was just sitting there playing on my phone and the same girl came by and offered to take my tray and throw it away for me! This is top notch service for a fast food place. “Went to eat here since I was in the area and it's been years I've eaten at a Black Eyed Pea. Is this the last one standing? Anyways, it was Tuesday March 15th around 3pm. We were seated right away and the only server they had on (Hispanic male) was rocking all the tables. He was on the run but keeping up with everyone. The rolls and cornbread were good and the food was how I remembered it. I miss these restaurants. Service was great. Kudos to the kitchen as well. I'm sure they're short staffed too.”
