The store attendant took her time to make sure I saw all the unique items and services they carry. They have an embroidery area in the back of the store for personalized gift. Whether it’s a robe, bag, or children’s items, they embroider in house. I was breezing through the shop, not having time to sit down and eat, but I’m definitely coming back to try their lunch. The smell was intoxicating. And their beautifully decorated cookies for the Halloween season were very tempting! This shop has a little bit of everything but it alphas the most of us authenticity and character.”

“Delivering items to Calloway’s in Denton can be a bit of a challenge for truck drivers. The employees themselves are friendly and helpful, but drivers should be prepared — getting a 53-foot trailer in and out of this location is not easy. You cannot enter from the interstate. You’ll need to go through the Pep Boys next door and back down to the nursery. The staff even stopped oncoming traffic to help me maneuver safely. I was able to park overnight in their lot, and they allowed us to use the restrooms, which was appreciated. The staff here are very kind people. The all-girl crew unloaded me quickly — less than an hour from start to finish. Once you get the truck positioned, everything else is smooth and pleasant.”

“My mom lived there 12 years. Overall great experience for her and us. It met our needs perfectly. Mom made great friends there which kept her engaged socially. If you want to engage and stay active mentally, physically, or both there are many ways to do so. The cleaning and dining staff have been superb! Everyone on the staff is friendly and professional. We have also enjoyed the large clean pool a couple of times. The only reason mom is moving is that she now needs more care beyond independent living.”

“The store was taken over by new management or they decided to do menu changes. What is advertised outside for the menu isn’t what is offered inside. They still do hamburgers, but most of the menu is Mex-Tex/mex. Still the aroma of what they are cooking is wonderful. The meal comes with chips and salsa. We ordered the Friday Fajita plate special and a taco salad both are decent sized for price”
