“Not the biggest course, but a decent cross country ride. Some punchy climbs that will have you huffing. The real jewel of the park is the jump line, with a nice drop in jump (or some drops), nice berms and and a short wall ride, and ending with a little elevated skinny. Full circuit takes maybe 30 seconds and then a 90 second climb to get back to the top and start another lap! Great place to work on your skills and iterate, build up confidence for larger parks.”

“Great family experience!! We checked into a cabin on Friday @ 4PM and left the following Monday around 1030AM and all around everyone with us had the best time. My husband, myself, our 3 year old, 17 year old, and my parents all came for the trip and did not leave disappointed. The cabin slept 8 and was very comfortable. The only suggestion with the cabin is more trash bags and a broom. We did a guided tour during a Hiking/crafting activity scheduled and really enjoyed the knowledge Denise had. The pool was great with the basketball hoops and swim up bar. You couldnt keep us off the adult water slides and the kiddie pool was perfect for our 3 year old. Shopped way to much at the general store but it was super convenient. Did not eat at the restaurant on property. Grilled at our cabin or went to local restaurants. Being able to rent a golf cart for a great price was also a great feature. We understand that the campgrounds are still under construction and look forward to visiting next year. I do wish there was a gym. I am an avid runner so I enjoyed early mornings around the site, the weather was perfect for it.”

“Blake Lane Park consists of a soccer field, a dog park and a large grassy area. It is not developed like many of the other parks in northern Virginia. It is a convenient location to enjoy some green space and perhaps fly your kite or bring the dog to the dog park. Part of the park is actually under consideration for an elementary school location and there is current on going discussion as to if it will actually remain a park. The only reason I give it only four stars is because most of the other parks are way more developed and Blake Lane offers only a bit over a green space.”

“Great walking trails, not crowded at all, and lots of benches along the trails for sitting for a break or snack.”

“This park was a lot of fun and has a lot of fun and unique features. I love the musical instruments that kids can play with. The only problem is that the entire playground is designated for 5-12 years. Except for the baby swings, there is not much for a toddler to play on without giving her parents mild heart attacks.”

“My mom recently passed away and she had everything taken care of in advance. David one of the managers at Mt. Comfort handled things professionally and took care of everything without hassle. He also provided us a day and time that was perfect for my moms burial. Everything went smooth.”

“Nice dog walking spot. Some interesting spots hidden away. Limited roadside parking and no facilities, but that's a plus. At least it's not another soccer field.”

“Not a bad place. It had everything you need for a decent campsite. Lacks general privacy between sites though - but all of the sites around me happened to he empty. Children had fun.”

“This is a nice size park but I don't think many people know about it. There was nobody there when we went. Pepper still enjoyed running around and checking out the different obstacles tbat arr setup. The ground is safe, no glass or trash. We will come back when we are in the area.”

“Fenced in playground with lots of room for littles and bigger kids. An exercise course with pull up bars and all kinds of exercise instructions. Basketball and tennis courts. You'll need to get a code from the community center to get into the tennis court.”

“Very spacious dog park. There's usually a decent amount of dogs here and it's Sandy/gravelly without a whole lot of dust so my dog hasn't had a problem with muddy paws. Bring your own water in case someone else didn't.”

“Arguably THE BEST place you can either board or take your dog for a veterinary visit. Every single employee I interacted with there were always professional and friendly. Even the other dogs there were comfortable. Well fed, exercised normally. Very clean facilities, sits on 6 acres so there is SPACE!!!!! I will never take my wolf hybrid anywhere else. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!! Go without your pet and you would be impressed. I love that place and the people that work there.”

“Hidden but nice little park with its own parking lot. Park has a playground (climbing structure, slides, swings, tire swing), a covered picnic area with a grill and trash can, an open field, and paved walking trail. Two geocaches here. Would be nice if it had a bathroom or port-a-potty.”
