“When I visited the other morning Sunday for breakfast it was beyond my surprise. The interior was very welcoming and decorated for the fall compared to prior visits where it seemed to be very sterile. Also the meal I had which was a choice of sausage links or patties I chose the links which were excellent and also I had french toast which I have to say was absolutely some of the BEST I have ever tasted! I definitely will be returning as it seems like the restaurant has really taken a focus on improving many things. Also, my guest enjoyed the special breakfast of the day, it was quite a mouthful and he wasn't able to complete it all. I do not know what the name of this bountiful meal was but it was according to him delicious!! Definitely will be returning in the near future. Prices are very affordable in today's market!”

“On this stormy day finishing up my long weekend I was craving a spicy all beef sub from Chicago. But alas I was no where near. So in my pursuit of this food through rain and crazy Virginia drivers, I found this place. When I walked in I was greeted by three workers: Javi, Hanna, and Anthony. These three were fantastic and hard workers. After asking each their favorite sub I chose Anthony to make it. He made me a #43 and to make it how he likes it, but spicy. Let me tell you it hit the craving I longed for. Such rich flavor, just spicy enough to keep you going back for more. Like when a woman bites your lips during a kiss. Absolutely wonderful. Their boss should be Absolutely proud of these three and are quality employees that go above and beyond.”

“I really like living here! I’ve lived here for almost a year and I don’t plan on moving until I leave Portsmouth. My apartment does have dated counter tops and cabinets. The fixtures and hinges in the bathroom are old and rusted. But that doesn’t bother me that much. I have the 1 bedroom with a den and it’s a really great size! The office staff is always super friendly and helpful. Maintenance is wonderful and you never have to wait long for something to be fixed! Usually if you put in a request in the morning it’ll be fixed that day. The package room is a bit annoying since it’s inside the leasing office and can only be accessed during hours the office is open, but not a huge deal. You can get your mail from your mailbox at anytime though. I do wish the pool was open for longer. The pool is open Memorial Day to Labor Day but it’s hot enough to be at the pool before and after those dates. The gym is pretty solid for an apartment gym. It has everything you need to get a workout aside from some of the equipment that no apartment gyms have anyway, like a squat rack or leg press. The area is also great! Within walking distance to so much. Harris Teeter is a 3 min drive. I go on walks all the time around the neighborhood and to nearby shops. I always feel safe in the area. Overall I really like it. It’s not perfect but I don’t have any major complaints.”
