“04JAN22 ~ I had a wonderful dining experience with my oldest brother, this is his favorite 'go to' restaurant. This hidden gem in the Kempsville area is locally & family owned. It has a friendly, non-pretentious atmosphere. We went there for the Tuesday night 'Shrimp Special'. It was great. The shrimp were plentiful, large, tasty, and perfectly cooked. It comes with melted butter for dipping & cocktail sauce. The hush puppies & Cole slaw were also excellent. Our waitress, Stefanie, was everything I would want in a waitress. She was genuinely friendly with a warm smile, she was articulate/well spoken, helpful, and came by at just the right times, not too much & not too little. The prices were exceptionally reasonable. Whenever I go to visit my family in Virginia Beach we always eat there at least once per visit.”

“Let me start saying “the food was delicious”. Don’t forget you call for a reservation, we didn’t and we had to wait 45 minutes, but the wait was worth it. If you don’t eat much, each entrée should be enough for two, specially if you order any appetizers. We ordered fried calamari and it was big. They also bring bread and like I said above, it was delicious. The only reason I gave 4 stars it’s because for the price, the place should be nicer. I’ll definitely come back!”

“I was pleasantly surprised how affordable this place was for lunch. Everything was absolutely stellar, from the presentation to the flavor to the service! Everything was delicious. The waitress was so helpful and kind, honestly some of the best service I've ever gotten! I will definitely be coming back for more and bringing some friends along with me. “We've been ordering here for several months now and I've gotta say, it's been pretty consistent. Really good crust on the pizza, always cooked perfectly, and order is always made right. Delivery people are nice and usually earlier than expected. One guy even came back up the steps to bring my forgotten ranch - kudos. Plus, they've got quite an extensive menu so always something for everyone. Definitely worth a try!”

“They have a great bar outside. Good food and great prices. The downside was there is no parking and if you wish to park, you HAVE to park valet. This seems like a cheap way to make more money. However, I understand that the valet is usually separate and tipped separately, so hopefully it's not a scheme to dump more money into the restaurant. The atmosphere outside was wonderful on a sunny day. Their alcoholic beverages were well made and tasty. Their alcoholic drinks though are very pricey compared to other places. Also, the place is always very packed so expect to wait an hour for your table. However, I'd say it's worth it for the food. They also have board games outside to keep you busy and plenty of outdoor seating to wait at.”

“This sushi is DELICIOUS. The sticky rice is perfect too! Each roll I’ve had has been thick and full of ingredients. I usually get a volcano roll and an earthquake roll and would highly recommend them both. The volcano isn’t that spicy, which I like )but if you need spicy, you should ask for more). The rolls aren’t huge like at some sushi places, but I’ve never felt like I didn’t get my monies worth. They always give you free cheesecake and/or a free roll of some kind. The delivery is cheap too! And the delivery and to-go packaging is nice and secure and keeps the sushi well separated and contained.”
