“My family and I took a hike there and it wasn't very long but there was plenty to do there, it's really nice and the water is beautiful, especially from the pier and it is relaxing ti watch and listen to. The hike was full of interesting marshes and had great sites, along with insightful signs telling you about the wildlife, plants, and trees there. You could easily spend the day there. I 100% would recommend!”

“Love this campground! If you are in a tent, the closer to the water, the better. Otherwise, you can hear the noise from the road. We have stayed in 169 and 186, loved them both. There was shade, a lot of room for the kids to run around and play in the sand. The picture is from site 186.”

“Great place for photography and getting outdoors. There is always a large variety of birds that can be viewed from the road. Many different migratory birds stop here throughout the year. Perfect place for a quick run on the trails. 2 different trails that connect for 1 longer trail. There are alot of roots, but the path is well marked and east to follow.”

“I visited the dog park with my two dogs....my third time there, & each time was enjoyable. There are public restrooms, handicap accessibility/ parking. Bring water for your pups, or you have to run the bowl to the restroom. There is usually a bowl on site, but you'll have to fill it if no one else has....”

“My significant other and I were recommended Zoom Room by the rescue organization we adopted our amazing 11 week old mixed puppy from. We are so thankful they did! Zoom Room is an amazing and fun way to not only better your pet's obedience skills but to also bond with them! They have a plethora of class options covering obedience to agility. They also have various play groups that cater to your pup's age and size! Our pup was shy aggressive before going to play group and after going twice his confidence and demeanor bettered tenfold! The trainers are very attentive and helped build confidence in our pup and our capabilities as well. We cannot recommend them enough and we are blessed to have a company like Zoom Room to take our precious pup to! Thank you!”

The background music was great selection from the 80's. The outdoor scenario was perfectly beautiful with the board walk, pedestrians, tricycles and the ocean further down just like in a movie.”

“The cherry blossom trees are absolutely gorgeous during bloom season - the cherry blossom festival is a MUST SEE in my opinion. It’s my favorite Virginia Beach festival with amazing performances, food trucks, and vendors. The park as a whole is always beautiful and gives for a therapeutic, and cheerful walk. I take my daughter here all the time, just as my mother brought me and my siblings.”
