“I had a total hip replacement done by Dr. Sparling just over 5 years ago. I would describe it as the least invasive major surgery that I've had, and I've had a few. He and his support staff prepared me for what was coming, advised exercises that I could do ahead of time to increase my comfort after, and generally made me feel confident about the process. The operation itself went very well, and I had very little "down time" after the fact. I was back to work (I worked at home) literally the day I came home from the hospital. There is very little scaring at all, and my hip works better than the original ever did in my estimation. I can't imagine anyone doing a more complete, competent job.
