A Barkery van sells treats for the pets next to the dog park. There are designated places for grilling as well as some tables in the picnic area. Offers amazing views of Medina and Kirkland across the lake and even Mount Rainier.”

“A crew from Seattle Fire Station 24 responded to my 911 call requesting medical assistance for my father. The crew, especially the super professional and calm lead, turned our totally scary and tense situation into a calm experience despite the total chaos my mother and I were feeling. All the crew were super respectful, patient, and caring while treating my father and getting him stable. When I was reunited with my father in the ER the first thing he said -- "The firefighters are all so nice and kind." He shared that everyone treated him with so much care and hearing that made me even more thankful for Seattle Fire Station 24! Also, the paramedics from Station 31 who assisted were equally awesome and provided the same level of amazing care! Thank you so much, Seattle Fire Stations 24 & 31!”

“My hairstylist, Douglas has done a wonderful job both times I did a perm. He’s very kind, thoughtful, and genuine. He loves his job & truly wants his clients to be happy with the end results. And he makes sure of that. During my consultation for getting a perm, he gave me his truthful opinion. That my hair was too damaged for a perm at the time & I should wait. He also told me that the size of curl I wanted was too extreme for my naturally straight hair and I should go with bigger curls. I listened to him. I went back 2-3 months later & did the curl size he recommended. The end result looks fabulous! And no damage to my hair. I had done perms in 2 other places before this salon. 1st try, my hair didn’t even curl. 2nd try, the stylist severely damaged my hair. Douglas is just incredible at what he does.”

“I called Harley's service dept. for a quote on a handlebar swap. I was stunned! So I decided to call Bill at Mayhem (having heard a couple of good things through friends) and I'm glad I did! He was upfront and honest about the cost and overall their team was super easy to work with. I don't trust the dealership as far as I can spit, but Mayhem? Quality work and integrity. The buckhorn bar swap on my bike looks amazing and they performed a clean detailed installation that came in right about what he quoted me. They even found 2 electrical short issues and repaired them that the dealer did on prior work! Unless its warranty work, skip the dealer and visit Mayhem. You will not be sorry!”

“You'd probably walk past this and not give it a second thought, but I highly recommend you walk in. This is the best store for Latin American products in the general Beacon Hill area that I've found. The owner is as nice as can be, and you can tell he is thoughtful about what he imports from Latin America. He has the best products that I grew up with--loroco, chorizo, queso, crema, chiles, special pots for making tamales, special presses for making tortillas, special grinders for making salsas. He has it all. Not much to look at, but 5 stars for what's offered.”
