“A lovely garden to visit right in the middle of a Seattle housing development. We visited the day before the docent tours started, but it allowed us to stroll around the grounds on our own and just take in the beauty. Not a tremendously large garden, but it has a lot to take in. We probably spent about 30-45 minutes following the roads and small trails. Looks like it would be a great place to host private events. Would love to be able to see what's blooming at each season. You should visit.”

“Bummed the stairs are gone for the upper lookout. There are a few boards that need fixed on the path. Other than that we enjoy stopping here when we can.”

“Always a great time spent here. Quiet place to relax after walking the trail. The trail is wide, flat and perfect for biking, walking and roller blading. The wildlife can be abundant at times and there are 2 families of eagles which you can enjoy seeing most days. A lot of parking and only steps from trail. Also handicap accessible.”

“One nice hidden little p patch on the border of Jackson golf course. Enjoy the flowers and fruits, but don't give in to temptation, leave them for the gardeners to harvest themselves. I say if a garden is left attended for a length of time, then gleening is ok. But that's only what I say.”

“Nice trails for a short walk or can make it longer on a different trail. Lots of places to fish, but bring your own chair. Nice maps of trails posted. 3 different parking lots. One near the partment buildings, one in the middle and the boat launch. Open space near the boat launch to play Frisbee or catch. Several people had caught fish. Handicapped parking everywhere but the boat launch. Part of the path is a floating sidewalk on top of the lake. There is a disc golf course across the street from the lake. So good to see people out and about and everyone we ran into was quite friendly.”

“The grass is well cared for at this park and the kids love the playground! It was a perfect place for a picnic. I did however hear that the sink was not working in the women's restroom. Bring hand sanitizer!”

“It's a great park with plenty of room for the dogs to play and tables for people to sit at. There's a water station. The fence is shorter than most dog parks so just make sure your dog is not a jumper. There are no lights at all though, so I wouldn't suggest going at night. The only lights are across the way at the school but that doesn't light up the dog park at all.”

“A scenic roadway enjoyed on foot, bike or car. Perhaps the only place in Seattle where you can travel for miles without a stoplight or the hustle bustle of a busy freeway. All this thanks to the nationally famous Ohlmsted park design team and some bold visionary planners in Seattle a century ago.”

“Meandering paved trails, trees enough to be a forest, just a completely nestled little gift you don't expect that fills the mind and lungs with refreshing. I adore this little park. There is a front area with paved trails, and a back area with sticks to play with and some small bike jumps. It goes from the street right up to I-5. Perfect for a short shot to the trees with your littles, or a morning talk with God. "Friendly" is the name of the feeling. Just a lovely place. It's not highly maintained, so there is some litter here and there, but it disappears - and I've never seen drug paraphernalia. That is normal to run into, closer to Seattle. But it is maintained - just enough to be clean and intentional, but it is left alone enough to feel like a homey place, not manicured. To me, it's perfect.”

“The breakfast is very tasty. You'd think that there isn't much to a waffle, cheese grits, scrambled eggs and bacon, but bacon too soft, eggs runny and grits either runny or too lumpy I've had more often than not. This place is on point! Get there early because it gets busy. I recommend it!”

“I've said it before and nothing has changed. This entire area is fantastic. I grew up in this area and now that I'm older and we'll traveled, I see that I was very fortunate. The parks are very well kept, the scenery second to none and just the whole atmosphere is singular.”

“In 2008, I graduated from Landstown High School those were the best times of my life and I learned so much from the faculty and staff there. I also love the fact that the high school that I still love is under the supervision of one the best Principal's. Dr.Matney was my the principal of my old middle school and I'm sure he will make great Principal of Landstown.”
