“I discovered this B&B when I brought my youngest out to see Washington after their high school graduation in 2015. I returned for a visit again with another family member in 2018. Both times, Bill was a such gracious host to us...actually, gracious is an understatement! I feel like I am staying with family when I've stayed there. The upstairs room is so peaceful. I sleep so well there! And I still dream about the sunporch breakfasts we had before going on our daily adventures. It's a lovely experience that I will always treasure and hope to be able to do again in the future. I hear the Sound calling me as I write this! So grateful to these wonderful folks for opening up their home as a B&B!”

“We spent one night here on our anniversary. We splurged and got the King Jacuzzi room overlooking the water. My only complaint was the price … almost $500 for one night. That’s the going rate nowadays (I priced many other rooms in town) and it’s not a knock on Silver Cloud. My complaint says more about my budget than anything. The room was very luxurious and for the amount of money, we definitely got the value. Bathrobes were comfortable, high quality towels and plenty of them. The room appointments were first class. The view from the tub was terrific! The jacuzzi tub was huge! And water temp was just as you’d expect. We paid extra (when we booked) for parking, and walking to dinner and dessert was easy. It appears as though they are still doing a considerable amount of building in the area, and more businesses will show up soon. Ruston is a cool town nowadays and I expect we’ll be back before too long.”

“I have lived here for roughly 5 years. Overall its really good. I almost gave it a 3 because of the rules and the way some rangers act like big government authority almost and they will make you get a permit, then 6 months later tell you that you can't do something that you already got a permit for, which infuriates me like crazy. They need some more common sense instead of acting like the members are criminals at times. That being said its not a bad cost to live here, there are plenty of people that work here that are very kind, and having access to the lake and things like that are great. I could write a novel, but will leave it at that for now. My only advice to the staff is BE KIND, this isn't the united states corporation military, this is our home show some respect. Having said that, I overall recommend it. You guys train your staff better and use some more commons sense and work together more, I would give this a 5. Just be consistent please. Thanks!”

“For our 34th wedding anniversary my husband and I stayed at Port Gamble Guest Houses (House 1). It was a beachfront home, well equipped and delightfully decorated. We found everything we needed in the house to make us feel welcome. We explored the town of Port Gamble and especially enjoyed the General Store, which was built in 1916. The Hood Canal Bridge is about five minutes from the guest houses and provides access to the Olympic Peninsula where you'll find hiking, fishing, boating, mountain climbing, the Hoh Rain Forest and, ultimately, the Pacific Ocean and the Salish Sea. The Olympic Mountains, strong and bold, can be seen from the bridge, inviting you to explore the area. Our trip refreshed us, filling us with clean air, beautiful pictures, and wonderful memories.”

“The Villa B&B checked all the boxes for us on our recent four-night stay. The historic property and grounds are beautiful and located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood, close to many restaurants, shops, and things to do. Our room (the Verona) was terrific-spacious, clean, and very comfortable. But the crowning jewels of The Villa are the outstanding hosts, Toni & Martin. They were very welcoming and so knowledgeable about things to do, places to eat, etc. Toni is an AMAZING chef--her breakfast offerings were delicious, filling and beautifully presented! We truly felt like we were staying with friends. We will be returning to The Villa the next time we come to Tacoma.”

“Excellent location for concerts! Vanessa, the front desk gal was incredibly friendly and went out of her way to help us for our entire stay. It was super busy, but she maintained a wonderful, positive attitude the whole time we were there. Hotel is so convenient for events at the Tacoma Dome and Car Museum. I’d stay here again for sure! Thank you again Vanessa, you are so cheerful and helpful!”

“I stayed here for several months while working on my house. The property was clean and comfortable and the gated off-street parking was great! The house had all the amenities that I needed; having a full kitchen and laundry were especially nice after a long day. Kimberly (the owner) was very helpful and responsive in providing directions and guidance for local attractions, grocery stores, etc. She clearly takes pride in restoring older homes and was always working to improve the property. I was initially skeptical about the area, but there was a lot of new development going on and I found it quite safe and enjoyed walking to restaurants and the glass museum. I would not hesitate to stay here again; for the money and convenience of living in a fully furnished home it certainly beat a hotel room!”

“We had a lovely stay at the here to celebrate our friends wedding. We absolutely loved bar station taking turns being bartender, watching scary movies in the theater room. My personal favorite thing was the massage chairs! They were great for winding down in the evening or waking up in the morning. I forgot my bathing suits so I did not try out the hot tube but my friends said it was wonderful. The kitchen, bar, and rooms came fully stocked with all the tool and things we need to cook, mix, and clean up. Once again We loved staying at the Nordic Hill Manor and hope to one day come again”

“This place has some magic that slows down time and makes you don't want to leave. We were here for a night while exploring Whidbey island, and the experience was fantastic. Jaime was such a warm person who did an excellent job hosting this cottage. The cottage was impressive in every aspect: peaceful and quiet, private house, artistic decorations, large space, comfortable bed, and modern amenities. The next morning we had delicious quiches made with eggs coming from the barn directly! We also got a chance to get along with her adorable hen and mini goats. It's a perfect place for a weekend getaway to rejuvenate and relax.”

“Beautifully appointed and clean room with cute rustic decor (hotel unit). It was so nice to have ample counter space in the bathroom (a rarity in accommodation!) and a large shower. It was also nice to have all the toiletries in large refillable dispensing bottles instead of the usual wasteful little plastic bottles. Nice thoughtful touches throughout…wish we could have stayed longer. (The restaurant was excellent also—we shared the largest brownie/ice cream dessert ever!)”

“Super fantastic! Looooove the park! The scenery, the nature. Simply fantastic! The buildings are all so cool too! I really live the ingenuity that went into the place. I loved it so much I started looking at property! Definitely a great gem in our own back yard and a great story of local history for the PNW life!”

“I was a guest of a wedding here. The venue was absolutely gorgeous. I was unsure which staff were from the castle and which were a third party, so I cannot say much about food or lodging. The wedding was very personalized and it appears the castle was very accommodating with that.”

“Brett was super helpful finding us a spot for a quick overnight to see a Mariners game. We were taken aback with how nice this campground was. Just wow! Pristine and beautiful grounds, restrooms cleaner and nicer than some hotels we've stayed at. Wish we were able to stay longer. We'd definitely like to stay for a few days next time to chill in the wonderful treed ambience!”

“Great place for amazing pictures of the Falls. It has different areas of observation and good parking. As it is far from a bigger city Ride-Share apps are hard to get, same as public transport. Amazing during the summer and during sunset hours. Good place to come if you have extra time in the Seattle Area.”

“To any potential tenants, please make sure when you call, you speak to the owner, Justin. We are currently in between managers, and if anyone claims to be the manager, besides the owner, they are lying. With that being said, this is still a great place to live, below is my original review, we've been here for over a year now. My husband, 2 year old and I have lived here for almost 3 months! Before deciding to come to SSRVP, we checked out a lot of other RV parks that were dirty and had questionable people living in them. We absolutely love how quiet, clean and how most of the tenants are friendly! From what I've seen from previous pictures and stories from complete strangers, the owner did a really good job with getting this place cleaned up.There are simple rules to follow, as there should be. Follow the rules and you'll be just fine. I love that it is family and pet friendly. We look out for each other here, and that is amazing! We are truly blessed that we found this place when we did, I couldn't imagine living in any other RV park around here.”

“Worked through a misunderstanding and appreciated the manager's kindness and willingness to make adjustments to our reservation. Spent two nights, were able to walk downtown, eat at the next door restaurant, and sleep in comfortable beds. I gave five stars because I was impressed with the manager. The hotel is a work in progress, so I expect it to improve over time.”

“This is really a nice place to live, but sadly there are always a few bad apples in the community and thankfully the management is addressing those who violate those rules. We greatly appreciate what they're doing to make it a nicer and safer community. It's obvious the people who posted below are totally clueless to the park rules, or the RCW codes for the state of Washington, I worked as a Paralegal for a long while and see many of these ad hoc "invent a lawyer" people who always quote some made up right or law that does not exist. Negative posts like below is a shame to see, as it does not give a true view to how nice it can be to live here and the good friends we made. It's funny how people can not pay rent, let their home fall down, become squatters, not have a title to their home and then get upset when they're legally forced out. If you want to live here, come to talk to the residents who really represent the park, not those who whine when busted for their own bad behavior and lack of responsibility.”
