“🚨HIDDEN GEM🚨 don’t listen to the people giving this place less than 5 stars. I’ve been staying here all week, and I can confidently say this place has exceeded all of my expectations. The bathrooms are CLEAN and the putt putt is FUN. We have been going to the hot tub every night & there’s also a foosball table that everyone can play on. Okay so maybe the word “resort” is a bit misleading…but hey, it’s the best dang campsite I’ve stayed at in a long time. Give it a try!!!”

“A beautiful corner to reflect quietly. A fine spot for a picnic with someone special or just take the kids to for a bit of outdoor entertainment. Best part, open to the public year-round and requires no admission.”

“This is a hidden treasure. They have a grand recreational area that you can rent out and have huge events. Indoor tennis courts, basketball area and other activities you can play. The facilities are clean and bathrooms are conveniently close. Full connections and they even have stagecoach rooms you can rent out. I’m surprised the occupancy here is very low. I went on a holiday and it was about 20% full. I loved it.”

“Such a beautiful park is this…. You can see mt. Rainier from this lake. If you are a photographer, you should visit in early morning or golden hour. It’s a calm and beautiful place. Parking available until sunset.”

“A beautiful nature escape that makes you feel miles away from the hubbub as you listen to the creek and the wind blowing through the trees. It's a short in and out trail but worth it if you're in the area.”

“An inspirational piece of history and natural beauty. Amazing trails for you and all of your companions, 2 an 4 llegend! Lots of running space in an open field that allows all kinds of family and group activities. Responsible pet owners are diligent and very appreciated by our family and community, as well as our fellow trail blazers!”

“Nice public access to the beach. Most Whidbey Island beaches are private but this little park offers a bit of serenity to the public. Bathrooms and seasonal wash-off areas. They even have a sand pit area with quite the collection of Tonka trucks for the little ones. Park is early accessible, good parking, and, if you are stuck waiting for the ferry, it's a great place to relax.”
Address: 3701 Beach Dr SW, Seattle, WA 98116, USA
“A pleasant stop during a walk along Beach Drive and the shore-front, with explanations as to why the park was established and how it represents responsible treatment and restoration of the shore. There's information about cormorants and other sea birds, as well as illustrations of seabirds you may see. All in all, a pleasant stop.”

“This isn't much of a park, more like a big swath of land (the size of a football field) to let your dog run around. You can park nearby, take a walk on a paved trail next to the Cedar River, and let your big dog chase a tennis ball for a while. Not sure I'd want to get married here, but hey whatever works.”

“Love the big field- its a great place to play fetch. There is also a small hill and agility area that you can reserve. Online registration system is super convenient, and the owner is very friendly and helpful.”

“Not a bad little park. It only gets a 4 because there are no garbage cans or seat to sit at or set your stuff on while the little ones play on the slides. They have a nice little gym set up for the kids . It has 3 slides a fireman's pole some ladders and a nice big staircase leading up to a big platform. Plenty of room for several kids. There is a football size or so field for the kiddos or anyone to play ball on. And a 1/2 basketball court. Right behind Costco. Street parking.”

“Love this place. Just like summer camp when I was a kid. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I'm here every year with a group of guys who are a bit "rough around the edges" and the camp staff is very understanding and accommodating.”

“This is always a great place to take the dog. It is also great to fish here. I like that the restrooms have always been clean whenever I've used them. The park is very well maintained. Edited 4/29/22 this is still a great park, very quiet and clean except for the few that do not obey the scoop laws.”

“A nice and small Public Park for entertainment and activity”
Address: 8498 Seaview Pl NW, Seattle, WA 98117, USA
“It's an awesome dog park, but gets pretty crowded on weekends, which overwhelms my senior small dog a bit, and makes parking very difficult. During the week it's more reasonable, so just pick a time based on what your dog needs. I go here during the week and a different park on weekends. There's beautiful trails nearby too if you'd like to take your pup for a walk as well. Fair warning, it can get pretty muddy, so be prepared to clean off your pup afterwards if it recently rained.”

“Great place to take the family. They have a ferry that goes from Everett to the island.”

“A wonderful place to come visit the Puget Sound. The beach is mostly rocky, but there are patches of sand to dig around in. The bridge across the train tracks gives a great view of the beach and provides a cool vantage point when trains come by. There's also a really cool playground up above the main parking lot, before you get to the beach, and a couple of paths and trails that go around the very top of the park.”

“Nice facility. Clean and modern interior. Very bright acoustics, a full house will be loud. If everyone is quiet a person speaking can be easily heard without a public address system.”
