“I have been wanting to check this place out for a couple of months and I’m glad I finally made it! After a 300- mile ride Saturday we stopped here and was pleasantly surprised by the hosts’ hospitality first of all. They seem so genuine and kind. Loved being able to do the tap and pay with credit card at the register, no fumbling with cash. Got the focaccia home and made some truly lovely sandwiches for lunch. Can't wait to try it as toast and have poached eggs with it. The open crumb and soft, lovely texture inside is perfectly balanced by the rustic, crisp outside. Yum, yum!”

“Today my roommate decided to go get sandwiches after we spent time moving stuff into storage. One of my favorite sandwiches from Firehouse Subs. He said everything went well. My sandwich was delicious as usual. 3-24-2022 I haven't been in the restaurant yet. My roommate when he's out and about stops in and brings me one of their yummy sandwiches. My favorite is the " New York Steam" corn beef, pastrami and provolone all melted tucked into a toasted roll. They will even add veggies.”

“Chef driven meals in a cute little intimate setting. Admittedly, I was on my way to the saloon next door but the ambiance caught my eye. The menu made me stay and I didn’t regret it. I had the pot pie with “Big Boy” fries. While I believe that the pot pie could’ve been made better with maybe a puff crust, I was still satisfied. A nice, warm meal for a chilly night. My Mezcal cocktail = perfect and dessert (Port Poached Pear) was even better. Unfortunately, I’m not local but Hound+Bottle will always be remembered. Next time I’m in the area, I know where I’m going for any time that they’re open.”

The pizza was ok, staff said it was thin crust and cheesy but it was thick crust and not so cheesy so mostly bread. The grilled cheese sandwich was really really good. Melty cheese with fresh tomato, sourdough bread had a parmesan crust. Huckleberry vanilla swirl cone was ok. I expected much more of a Huckleberry flavor. Maybe once the huckleberries are ripe, there will be more huckleberry. The wait staff seemed a little annoyed, maybe they just had an off day or were coming off a busy rush or were short-handed. They were nice, though, and attentive. We will be back soon to have burgers and huckleberry shakes. Perfect meal after a hike through the Ape caves.”

“This fish n chips shop serves great fish, they are located directly across from the beach. I ordered the combination meal with halibut, shrimp, oysters and fries. The fish and shellfish were cooked perfectly and had great flavor, the fries were a little overdone but had good flavor. Overall, I was satisfied with the food I did ordered, except for the side of coleslaw that wasn’t very good. There were out of a lot of things unavailable, like scallops and iced tea. I had to order what was available. Also, they could not take American Express cards. The food was good, as well as the location. If you are looking for fish and chips, this is a good spot.”

The fish and chips were pretty solid, the happy hour oysters and sliders were great, and the clams were yummy although we decided we still prefer their mussels. Definitely gets very busy at dinnertime and a number of people stopping in were turned off by the 35-45 minute estimated wait time so show up earlier, or hope you get lucky like we were. Both delicious in their own way and the ingredients were fresh. The fresh wheat/white bread was delicious. The staff was friendly upon interaction but was not greeted or hailed with a "thanks for coming in" when leaving. Not really a big deal, but they were really slow at the time. The staff did a wonderful job on focusing on their orders. Their work space was very clean as well... The cookies and brownies are really good as well. Always a fan.”
