Very very personable, So many different staff came by all the time to check on how our table was doing, even up to who seemed like the head chef would come personally to check on us! They were all very nice and there was no pressure at all of any kind. (Other places would rush you to order and to finish eating, or make you feel like they have no time for you and that you're lucky if they allow you 2 min to order). When I asked a question about the cut of the meat, they actually went and tried to find out. The ambiance was very nice too down to the music selection. They play Chinese music, since it is a Chinese restaurant, but it is the chill mellow kind, not too old school, and isn't the type where you feel like you should be at a wannabe hip party or something. And the food was all very high quality and the Broth... Wow!! It was perfectly spiced, wasn't too bland, and not overly salty, and plenty of natural herbs!! Just extremely Impressed with everything!!! Definitely going back!!!”

“My wife and I have visited Thunderbird Restaurant several times. We have always been treated very well there. Breakfasts are great and come with large portions.. Pancakes are large and tasty. (I've never been able to completely consumed the pancakes,, as they are plate sized.) lunches are very good my favorite is the club with onion rings on the side( the onion rings are cooked to perfection, IMO best Onion rings in town) the burgers are huge and delicious can't go wrong with those. The restaurant reminds me of the old comfy Diners, the staff are terrific and friendly. highly recommend this if you are in the area.”

Onion rings were perfect. You know when you get onion rings and you bite into then and all the slimy onion pulls out and it slaps you in the chin? Yeah, these don't do that! They weren't oily or greasy. They were fried perfectly! The place is small inside, but you're not eating the restaurant, so don't worry about it. The lovely lady at the counter was friendly and just SO very nice. I never get to come out to the island much anymore, but I know I'm going to make a point of stopping by at Perry's any time I can!”
