“The place is really clean and the staff are extremely helpful. Came on Saturday afternoon and was able to get a lane quickly. My four year old was given some arcade cards to use which was very nice. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because our lane was acting weird not dropping pins or dropping them with some falling down. My 4 year old got a strike when she didn't even bowl. Maybe I am bitter I lost to a toddler but the machines need some fixing. Other than that I would highly recommend to anyone who wants some quality family fun that everyone can enjoy! And don't forget the delicious bowling alley french fries! Yummy”

“I would give 5 stars but didn't get a chance to try the food! (Little kids needed a nap), which I hear is great. This bowling lounge is a nice place to go and take the whole family bowling. Very family-friendly atmosphere, games, stickers, and claw machines. Nice remodeled restaurant inside along with a great bowling ball shop. Very reasonable prices on food and bowling. I definitely will be back and recommend this place over chain bowling alleys.”

“They really went above and beyond with this renovation. The Great Escape (for single Sailors) is now inside the liberty center/bowling alley. The bowling alley is refreshed, looks great, and is extremely spacious. It's affordable, not usually crowded, and easy to access even on a weekend night. The staff are all extremely patient and helpful, as well. Definitely come check out the refreshed location!”

“So much potential here. They have a nice arcade, outstanding food, and great features on their bowling computers. Unfortunately they’re going through one of the same issues many places are experiencing, short on staff. The place was packed and the poor bartender was bartending, waitressing, and bussing tables. The VIP area needed so much cleaning, there’s no sanitizer anywhere and all the balls were covered in pizza grease. Hopefully they’re able to hire more staff soon to meet their high demand. It would be a shame for this gem to have a bad reputation over being short handed. Aside from that, some of the cool features on their bowling computers were themes like Fairy Tales, Disco, and several others you’d just have to see for yourself. They have competitions where you can beat your past score and win. They have amazing steak bites, don’t miss out on those, great quality with an outstanding chef, it’s not just “bar food” it looks like they actually have quality food for being a bowling place.”

“The X Bar is located inside of the Homestead bowling alley. If your teenage kids are bowling away feel free parents to go in to the bar and grab a mixed drink. This bar also showcases local band talent. Up-and-coming groups and singers. Some shows cost money and some are free. Usually a 20 something crowd in there when the bands are playing. Bartender is nice and friendly. I haven’t gone but I think they have karaoke nights on Wednesdays. Check it out the next time you are planning a night out with your friends.”

“We went on a Tuesday around 1pm as my son didn't have school so it was REALLY bare of people. The food was really good and was brought to us quickly. The only downside was the cost for everything ended up spending about $90 for 2 hours of bowling for 3 people, 2 beers, one appetizer and 2 baskets of food. The main reason we went here was the price for just the bowling was WAY less than other bowling alleys we looked at for the same amount of time. My son really liked bowling so definitely will go here again.”

The bowling alley itself is pretty much original from their opening date decades ago, with the exception of the digital scoring and newer tables and chairs, as possibly the only upgrades to the lanes over time. Madison Lanes has the classic, no b.s., bowling experience you would have in the 1960’s or ‘70s along with arcade games and a snack bar. The lanes also have leagues, tournaments and special events happening throughout the year! When a nostalgic bowling experience is in order, stop by Madison Lanes any day or night all week long! This is one of my favorite bowling allies and the friendly staff never disappoints!”

“Really enjoy bowling the 40frame game usa tournament until this year when our 6pm squad on June 2nd started at 730pm then restarted at 830pm. We had a full squad and there was not enough help to run the tournament. I had a reservation for 20 bowlers and many have said they WON'T bowl next year. I hope the owners of the tourney do something to get it run better.”
