“Update Nov 14th: My my my, the cinnamon roll is the best I've ever had. The filling is great, although I would add raisins for an option. The cinnamon is pleasant and doesn't overpower the roll. It's soft and flaky along with great icing, nit to mention the size and price. Bismark donut was soft, and the filling was just right along with the chocolate. I just wish they had vanilla as well. You can't go wrong with any of their parties as they are delightful and delicious too. Will let you know about the carrot cake soon. Lordy lordy, it took me too long to stop. Don't do what I did and get your butt in there, people. Wish I had more time to visit as I stopped in going to work. Choices, choices, and way too many. I even ordered one more pastry after checking out, ha ha. So my downfalls today were carrot cake slices, Bismark donuts, king Carmel roll, and my favorite yummy 😋 Big Cinnamon roll. “Nice, natural light room with artwalk all over the walls (appears to be from children from the area). I had an avocado toast with scrambled egg and a cortado. Both very good. Nice clean area to sit and quiet. My only input is the building appeared closed from the outside and I thought I must be in the wrong place because it looks more like a closed museum than a coffee shop. But I took a chance and tried the door and found the cafe in the rear of the room.”

“Neat concept, a coffee shack on the side of the road, barely visible (thanks google), drive through only. Two girls work there, very nice, friendly, even though there's a big line of cars. Takes only a minute to make a really nice latte, cardamom honey. And it tastes great. A tad expensive at 6.15$ each for 16oz though but this is Seattle, your $ is worth near nothing here. Everything is stupid expensive, so just spend it, and leave fast as you can. 6$ bagels, 6$ gas, can be found here as well. Too bad it's very pretty city, when weather is good.”

The food portion is big and it can be easily shared by two people. The food felt light and filling. Every item on the vegetarian combo was freshly made. But I guess the starter we ordered was a frozen item which was refried. It tasted well but it was a bit dry. I am not a fan of frozen and reheated items. “I'm drawn here because their baked items are made fresh each day and - handcrafted breads and pastries without preservatives. That’s remarkable in today’s world. You can pick up day-old baked items at reduced prices; but I prefer to go early and buy what’s fresh out of the oven. Nothing tastes as good as that. It’s nice for lunches, too. The Café Selection, especially sandwiches, use the bread they make and fill them with tasty combinations. It’s an ideal spot to take your children, catch up with friends, or as I do, host a business coffee, and/or often get something to go. Check out the community table – it really shows great support and loyalty to local residents. The pastry section, since I am such a scone connoisseur, is my favorite. There is no missing the “just-baked” flavor that makes them worth the calories. Every time I’m there I see people buying their caramel nut rolls – only my mom’s recipe beats them 😊. There are made with lots of butter and are chucked full of caramel. While you can purchase them with & without nuts, we prefer the nut version. It’s also very nice that these and many other items re for sale and in both mini and large sizes. The staff are vey friendly, this is something that I find is more common in small towns. I enjoy the chat about menu options, how the food is made, the baking schedule, and why they are so proud of their coffee. Check out this video where I’m filming, and the bakers are so pleasant and waving so friendly. It's a easy to go place for people with wheelchairs. You can enter in the back parking lot and not have to deal with any stair steps or ramp.”
