“This was my first time to the Keys, so my girlfriend and I stopped in to maybe get a map and possibly some ideas. Instead, what we got was Michael. Michael spent the next 30ish minutes walking us through all the best attractions on the 1. More impressive than his knowledge of the Keys was the fact he was able to write upside down while maintaining conversation. He provided us with an incredible map (see photos) with an abundance of info, again all written upside down and by memory. Michael, if you see this, you absolutely made our trip 100% better. “We had a wonderful time on our honeymoon here. The cabin was decorated beautifully. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the walk in shower. The strawberries and dipping sauces were delicious. The personal touches for the couple made things over the top !! I love love this place! It is secluded, yet still close to Guthrie and Okc. “Our rental was at the Westshire lodge #006. This trip went from optimistically good to very bad to great. Initially my review went from 5 stars to 1 stars. The reason being was because there was an issue with the septic tank. Mind you that we were only aware of this issue a few days before our booking. After waiting for the green light the day of the booking, we got the green light for our stay. The house itself was amazing. It’s literally as seen in the photos so this house will not disappoint! Unfortunately for us the septic tank no longer worked so we forced to leave the house the next day. Very inconvenient and upsetting as we had already settled in! Now the reason Why I’m giving this a 5 star rating is because of Crystal, who was amazing in handling the whole situation. For the inconvenience she provided us 2 homes to accommodate our stay within a matter of minutes. Mind you that there were 18 of us and I had family who came from out of state. She allowed us to stay in our original rental so that we could at least utilize the dock since we had brought 2 skis with us. Even though the 2 houses were on the opposite site of each other and did not compare to our original home, it did provide us a bed and a table to eat. Overall my family and I still enjoyed our stay at Donnor lake even with everything that was going on Crystal was professional and amazing throughout the whole process and my family and I will definitely be back in the near future.”

Joe took us on a great sight seeing trip and showed us all the rapids and a great spot to pull over and get some great pictures.
