Update: October /23 Asked Jim Blair if he had any used composite shingles for our steps and ramp in our back yard. “Taylor Automotive is a great place to go get your vehicle fixed, the price was very fair. The pressure was low in my cooling system and thankfully I didn't need new head gasket or rebuilt engine. He replaced the radiator cap first off but that didn't quite do the trick so he took it into the shop again and gave it a test drive and it was still overheating, he put new hoses on and took it out for a test drive but found that it was still overheating so he brought it back and it turns out the clutch fan was bad so he replaced that and I got my truck back and it works just fine I got a good heater in the truck to keep me warm when the cold weather is coming now and the engine does not overheat at all I am confident it never will overheat even in the summer and like I said his price was very reasonable and he was just a nice guy and I will keep going back to his repair shop to get my vehicle fixed. I was just so impressed with the work he did and I really am happy to get my truck back. He put life back into my vehicle”

“Jon & his team at Epic Auto Salvage is JUST what Polk County needs! Not only do they do a FANTASTIC job at picking out GOOD quality “used” car parts, but Jon also sells VERY GOOD QUALITY USED CARS!!! Jon was up front from the time he posted the Mini I recently purchased and said “hey it’s doing some weird electrical thing, but you’re welcome to take a look at it” — turned out the battery was LOW (that’s normal at any used car lot) that it was causing the electrical to basically go on reserve mode as it was running on alternator only. After telling Jon the issue, he immediately went to get a replacement battery - who does that?! Most used lots are basically “take it or leave it” mindset - not Jon. Jon cares about his reputation, and the quality of pieces, or used cars he has leaving his company. He was fortunate enough to be able to buy this business (the “name change”) from being a previous employee of the company before. They should be proud of Jon, he’s doing good things for Polk County. We also unfortunately recently had to have our Gladiator towed by them, again..TOP QUALITY DRIVERS! It’s important to always make sure you have quality drivers who knows how to properly hook a vehicle, or you’ll have worse damage that you end up fighting the tow company for being responsible for.
