“Have come here twice during our stay in Amsterdam. Both had a pizza and steak and the food was lovely. Staff are really good and friendly. We shall be back on our next visit to Amsterdam.”

“Kind and helpful staff, teasty food beautiful 🍷! BUT have to say that with only 1 bartender the drink orders can be delayed 20-30 minutes easily. The owner of this place SHOULD NOT save money on that part as they will loose potential guests. Staff really tried their best especially the 1really professional waiter but it was a busy night and their mission was impossible as they are humans! I hope that the owner will read this and start think about that he/she should take less profit into the pocket but invest more into the system!!! Once again thank you for the kind waiters they really tried their best to we have a great experience! ❤️”

“Beautiful place and nice to see a Californian cuisine restaurant in Amsterdam. The food is good, but the price-quality ratio seems a bit out of place for what it was. Service was friendly, but also not quite befitting the price level. It was a nice experience, but not worth the final bill.”

“Fabulous!! An intimate setting, wonderful attentive service and amazing food! The 4 course tasting menu was recommended and we loved it. We took the wine pairing, simply cannot fault anything. Excellent value and look forward to visiting again.”

“Quite tasty! We stopped in for a light lunch. Just the right amount of food! Got the pork dim sum, beef samosas, and the custard things too! Yummy! Really good chile sauce too!”

“First time here a few days ago. It was lovely. Our waitress Christine/Christina (forgive me if the name is incorrect) was lovely. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Food was tasty. The wait for the main course was a little long but I think they were waiting for us to finish our appetizers. The crabs also could have had a little bit more seasoning. But that’s just a personal preference. I also think the price to portion ratio is a bit unbalanced. Leaning towards the overpriced end. Overall a good experience. Would probably come again to try the Seafood Tower!”

“The best place for a Brasilian taste here in Amsterdam, Maria is a wonderful person, really talkative, friendly and very approachable. Everything I tasted in her store was delicious! So I can say that she got two fixed customers! Coxinha is divine, those Quiches are very tasty and well balanced, also the chicken pie (Empadão), is the best. The Pão de queijo is very good and very tasty…. No more words to describe… Simply the best! Thank you Maria 😘”

“In short, tasty pizza to grab on the way. Though for me it was a but too oily, but besides that everything is great. I got a four cheese pizza and a vegetarian one. Bon appetit!:)”

“Wonderful Restaurant! We had the luck to visit it one day before the lockdown has started and it was extraordinary! We felt very welcome. The service and the dishes were excellent. Nice restaurant concept with some nice surprises. Also the selection of non-alcoholic beverages was good! Additionally the service quality was very high and it fits very well to the high Standards of Waldorf Astoria!”

“An unforgettable evening! We had 8 people with so many different dietary restrictions and the waitstaff was super accommodating, even for the set menu and brought out gluten free bread! It was such a cool experience to dine somewhere with so much history. All of the food was delicious and the wine pairings were perfect.”

“Food was fantastic. Love the layers of flavours with each dish and their accompanying ingredients. Service has room for improvement as a One Michelin star restaurant. For eg, 2 of the staff cut in right between me and my husband when we were talking to clear the plates. Without saying excuse me or something like that. One lady even slouched when explaining the menu, leaning against the railing. Maybe I’m too harsh but that’s what I would expect if a star is awarded. Food was really good though.”

“It was cold, windy and rainy and we were hungry. So we walked in to get away from the cold and sat down. Ordered a lasagna and a prosciutto pizza. We asked for tap water and nothing to drink but our waiter shook his head to suggest it’s better to order bottled water instead of tap water. We agreed and joked “he doesn’t think we know that Amsterdam has one of the cleanest tap water in the world” LOL In any case the food was delicious and the service was prompt and attentive.”

“Cozy little greek restaurant with amazing food! Maybe it was the owner who served us, an older Greek man, he was a little forgetful at times, but very kind. Food came quick. The food was so delicious, and there were plenty of it. Could have used a little more tzatziki, but other than that everything was great. One thing we were annoyed about was all of the delivery guys who came through the restaurant when we were eating. That was very disturbing..”

“Modern yet cozy ambience. Fine dinning nicely executed. Friendly and attentive service that cares for the details. The multi course journey was complete and intense. A little overpriced in my opinion but good option if you’re not on a budget. For more experiences like this follow @quiquinnv”

“Absolutely amazing sweets shop. Their products line and the ambience, both are great. I would recommend a dine in over takeaway; of course when the situation allows. I love their Triliçe, which I could only find here. Their baklava and other sweets, such as western ones like Cheesecake are also too yummy. Highly recommended sweets shop in Amsterdam.”

“Excellent meat! For starters we ordered big shrimps (very tasty). For mains we ordered mixed meat for 2. Plate was full of lamb, entrecote and pork ribs. Lamb was the best ever had, ribs but dry but tasty and entrecote good. All came with nice grill flavor. Good choise For dinner! Excellent value For money.”

“We are so happy with our stay! Totally worth it to pay a little less and live a short distance outside city center. Super convenient to take the bus right outside the hotel, 10min. Or walk about 20-30min which we did one day to explore all the beauty of Amsterdam! So stunning! Clean and tidy room. Big enough for two people. One negative thing is the paper thin doors, but still not too mad about it”

“My husband and I happened upon this place on our first night in the city and had such an amazing time! The Manager Niles was welcoming and accommodating. Our server Victoria was friendly and helpful. The food exceeded expectations! As non-drinkers we appreciated and enjoyed their mocktails! And of course playing darts was a blast. Such a great concept, and a night to be remembered. We will definitely be saving this to our favorites while in Amsterdam, and will try to come for another visit soon!”

“I bought fries from this place which is located in Damrak a little ahead of Amsterdam Central Station. According to him the place is almost 40 years old and really makes great fries. I enjoyed their tasty fries and would recommend you if you are around or visiting Amsterdam”

“Great BBQ meat! The chicken wings were juicy and tender, meat fell very easy off the bone. Definitely recommend this place if you feel like having a nice BBQ. A little on the pricey side.”

“This is a great sharing restaurant. Fabulous dishes served when ready to share. Could he up to 30 minutes for all the dishes to appear but well worth the wait. Throw in the very efficient and helpful staff - you can't ask for more. Highly recommended.”

“Dish presentation + English fluent staff shy away from being perfect. Taste-wise, you’re welcome to a harmony and balance. If you are familiar with the Turkish cuisine, you know surely about their mastery of the meat and the aromas combined with it. They’re very generous with their white bread. On a more general note, much like most middle-eastern spade kabob shops, you get to taste what the Persians would refer to as “underkabob bread”… such quality and deliciousness, combined with a the nature of being hidden under the meat found its way to the Persian proverbs. Wonderful experience. High quality/price ratio. Still. Presentation could be better.”

“Nice breakfast experience in Amsterdam with lots of vegan and vegetarian options. However if you are looking for a brunch with bacon and eggs this is not your place. The decoration is super nice and the service quite attentive. Loved the idea of the glass separation between the seats so you could still have a good conversation with your partner while sharing a table. Overall, good experience!”

“Very cute place. Close to our hotel so we came by foot. Waitresses were all very friendly. We liked the salmon and profiteroles, but found the lobster pasta a bit bland and French onion soup a little too salty.”

“The atmosphere and wine selection were the highlights of my meal. We went as a group of 7. The other couple absolutely loved their meal. They had the steak and and lamb for 2. My family had the steak (his was over cooked), tuna, and the ravioli. Pros: The lamb was the star of the show. Everything is presented beautifully. Beautiful setting Cons: One steak was over cooked while the other was not I had to ask for my wine 3 times before I received it. The rest of my table received their second drink before I received my first.”
