“Fire Lake Preschool is amazing! They focus on kids learning through play and through interactions with classmates and teachers. They are always welcoming to parents (or other caregivers) who are interested in watching or participating in school. If parents have a concern, the teachers are more than willing to work with them to come up with a solution. My oldest son went for two years and my youngest son is in his second year, and they loved/love Fire Lake Preschool! In fact, my oldest wishes he could go back! I would definitely recommend Fire Lake Preschool to anyone who would like their children to learn in a fun, friendly, warm environment. I believe my oldest (in 1st grade now) is better equipped with handling the classroom/classmate environment because of the skills he’s learned at Fire Lake Preschool.”

“Me and my sister recently did the ultimate Alaska adventure. From start to end this was a superb experience. The entire staff is very professional, knowledgeable, experienced, and a great respect and appreciation for the wild-land. We made this reservation with Dave he was very helpful and and answered all our questions. Our guide for the week was Brett Johnson, we were a group of 10, he made everything possible to make sure our expectations were met, and at least for me and my sister they were exceeded we felt at all times VIP. He is extremely knowledgeable, experienced and professional, we felt safe at all times. We also had other guides during our trip, Spencer was our guide during a terrific hike that lasted about 6 hours. Mento, our rafting guide in the Kenai river- he is the wiki human version. Mooney, Harrison, Nick and Maya also had to mention, they gave us fabulous tours during our stay in the glacier lodge. We stayed in 3 lodges the riverside, the backcountry and glacier lodge, words cannot describe these places, you have to go yourself so you can understand what I’m trying to say. The staff if the 3 lodges is excellent, I have to give 100/10 to them- I’m not exaggerating, the food was excellent, they have different options for those with diet restrictions, allergies etc. I am very happy I went to Alaska and that I did it with this company. I am of course coming back. Thank you Dave, Brett, Mento, Mooney, Harrison, Nick, Maya and Spencer and rest of the staff for this great experience.”

(even though I won't understand much of the sermon as it will probably be in Tagalog right?) Is there a young peoples activity night? Or singles type of thing? I maybe want to see if I can get that Filipino food perhaps even a little more regularly than weekly! Not even gonna lie. I'll even try and learn Tagalog! That lumpia is worth it! Oh and also the friendship of anyone that can help me learn how to prepare it the authentic way! Lol”

“Can’t say enough about how nice the people running this laundromat are. I brought in an oversized down comforter and it was too heavy for the machine. It didn’t spin dry and was full of water. The gals running the place were so kind about the mess I was making. They took the comforter outside and literally used her body to drain enough of the water to get it into the dryer. Took her about half an hour! Who does that these days? Practically no one! Not to get angry at me was so surprising! So appreciate the customer service!”

“We had a fantastic 8mile out & back hike to past Crystal Lake to Raven Glacier. It was a mostly sunny day, a little windy in spots, with moderate trail traffic. Incredible views, especially at the glacier, but all along the trail. We even got to see a black bear in the distance on a mountain side. Loved it!”
