“The best thing about my stay at Spencer Canyon Campground was the camp hosts, Mark and his wife. They kept the place very clean and were always friendly. Having clean smelling bathrooms was a great surprise while camping. As others have said, some of the sites are very close together but some allow for more space. The views from the higher number sites, 45+ are amazing as you overlook Tucson. From most of the sites it is a little walk to get to where you can park but a few are closer. I had a relaxing and restful stay.”

“After 15 years, I went back to Tanque Verde with my sister and her husband for vacation. We love this place since there’s so much to do and just about everything is included. This is a great spot for people who like to stay active on vacation and don’t mind the lack of TVs. During our visit we enjoyed multiple horse rides each day, in addition to tennis classes, axe throwing, archery, hiking, and time spent by the pool. Our favorite activities as teens and even now as adults have definitely been the breakfast ride, lope rides, and team penning. It is an investment, but worth it! Special shout out to our outstanding wranglers, Mike, Dakota, and Aspen! We also loved our server, Omar! We appreciated the great service, humor, and attentiveness shown to us during our visit. Side note - Don’t get frustrated if you don’t pass the lope check right off the bat. Safety is huge on the lope rides, so it’s nice to have wranglers who care and are willing to work with guests through the lessons to help them meet their horse riding goals. You pay a good bit to stay at the ranch, but at the end of the day you’re dealing with horses and it’s not just about you and what you want ;)”

“Color, Color, Color! I love Ann's Bed and Breakfast. It makes you feel like you are in the heart of everything Southwest!. Ann is an amazing host and the greeting committee of Rusty, Jose and Emma is the best. Good location for Tucson...not to close to all the congestion but easy to get where you are going. Beautiful and relaxing surroundings. If the happen to be there during one of her sweat lodge times its a real treat to participate. Can't wait to go back for another visit!”

“Big Beautiful campground that’s no longer maintained. Grass over grown weeds high and more. If you go during monsoon season you’ll be lucky to find the water flowing down the rocks onto the road. Nice place to make a few s’mores or cook a few hot dogs on one of the many grills. Just beware that the weeds are a lil high and grass to your ankles so go prepared. Overall it’s a good place to get in touch with nature while getting away from the city.”

“I suppose this place is alright. There doesn't seem to be any loud neighbors although I did notice several youngsters doing what appeared to be gang hand signs. Other than that it seems the place is on good repair with an onsite maintenance guy. I guess of your happy mobile home lifestyle then this is your place. I do recommend Cactus Garden Mobile Homes park.”

“Staying in this cabin will allow any traveler to take a trip back in time. We stayed in mid-December and the gas stove heater kept us nice and warm. If you want to experience the AZ "wild" with some of the comforts of home you need to stay at Kentucky Camp Cabin!”

“I came down from Prescott to visit Tuscan and wanted a comfortable but not too expensive hotel to stay for the weekend. And this Comfort Inn did that perfectly! The staff are extremely sweet. And the hotel was kept very well maintained! My room was super clean and I enjoyed the quality of life features like a mini-fridge and microwave inside my room. And it just felt really cozy I couldn't have asked for more. I really recommend this Inn if you're looking for an inexpensive stay, that is extremely comfortable. Thank you Comfort!”

“Beautifully wooded area. Seasonal water flow in the creek. Clean camp sites and outhouses. Food lockers to protect such from wildlife. Grills and fire rings. Nice first come first serve selection of sites. Does not accommodate large tents, no hookups, no RV spaces.”

“A truly special place in Coronado National Forest high in the Rincons. There is truly no easy way to get there. It's at 8000ft elevation with no road access. There are campsites and a Ranger Station with some seasonal water spigots and a small horse stable. It's 15miles one way and 6000ft of climbing from Loma Alta Trailhead.”

“We stayed at the Roadside Inn in the Diego’s Room for a wedding up the road. I really love this place. It has everything I need. A central lounge with coffee, tea, cookies, bags of ice in the freezer, a separate compartment in the fridge for your food and drinks and a microwave and dishes. There’s a makeup mirror in the bathroom which I really appreciate and lots of counter space for all of my toiletries. They supply you with pump containers filled with unscented hand soap, unscented lotion, unscented body wash and unscented shampoo. The grounds are beautiful. There are bird feeders and a fire pit and each room has their own outdoor patio area on the patio that wraps around the building. If you get a chance, stay here!”

“Moved from Ohio and this was the best park I could find in Tuscon. The new park manager is amazing and will help you at any time you need. All neighbors are friendly, this park has had no bugs or stray animals. Very quiet and highly recommend”

“Miraval never disappoints. After a very trying 3+ years I returned to celebrate a beautiful woman who has supported me on my healing journey. We both felt cared for and restored after our visit. We did the morning on property hike which is gorgeous and loved our guide Nikki. We each received different spa services that nurtured both our body and our souls. The Mother's Blessing is a beautiful experience and Emilia is very gifted. For anyone experiencing a transition this session helped open some things for me. The lunch on the patio continued our connectedness and our relaxation. We look forward to returning and doing the challenge course.”

“We stayed in a Deluxe King room for 4 nights last week. Our room had a mini kitchenette with small refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, cooking items, and a bar where we can sit with sink. The room was laid out nicely and didn’t feel cramped. Our bed was comfortable. The hotel was located near the freeway and busy street. Our room was on the backside and farther from the freeway/street & quiet. We selected this hotel since it was well rated & good value. It’s definitely a unique hotel with interesting decor and art. It had a pool and games which makes it fun for families. The surrounding area is not exciting and there are no restaurants/bars within walking distance. We did feel safe and didn’t see homeless people on the street. We were out and about so we didn’t hang out in the hotel. We did go to the bar on Friday night for their local drink and there was live entertainment. It’s good that the hotel provides free oatmeal breakfast (though I am not a fan of oatmeal) and has a bar. They offer free coffee with breakfast but it wasn’t very good. The staff were friendly.”

“Was presented with a situation where I needed to find a boarding home in a pinch a few years ago. Renee was my first call and only call she worked with the resident and got her in IMMEDIATELY and worked with her fixed income. Not only that she had the grace and poise to deal with a particular person who had exhausted all options in Tucson with her addiction and manipulation tactics. Renee was so on top of her game and professional. Thank you Renee!!”

“We tent camped here and found it to be the perfect tenting situation. Having access to the "Saloon" aka clubhouse was the biggest plus. For $25 a night we were able to use all the amenities in the clubhouse which included an inside restroom and shower, laundry and detergent, fully stocked kitchen with cookware, utensils, dishes, stove, oven, microwave, coffee pot and coffee, TV, full sized fridge, couches, tables and chairs, books, games. They also sell fresh eggs and honey. For tenters this was an oasis. We dont have horses but they do have corrals for people that do. The location is perfect for a day trip to Tombstone and Bisbee. Many wineries are located within minutes from the ranch. We will be back on our return trip from Texas and will make it a destination in the future.”

“Stayed at this hotel to and from my drive to Phoenix from Dallas. they have an outdoor heated pool and hot tub which were great. plenty of room for large vehicle parking. “This tucked away campground is just the most amazing little diamond in the desert. We arrived at nighttime after a few calls. The camp host met us on the road leading in after I did 2 turn arounds in a 57 foot rig. They have full service spots that are pretty still in touch with the surrounding NATL park. The camp hosts are just awesome people and exceedingly friendly. My daughter calls one host Aunt Pamela. There is a mini lookout tower that gives you a 360 view of the ranges surrounding the basin. The shower house is nice and clean. My suggestions to the owner would be 5-7 mores spots and little number signs. For being a Snowbird Nest, they let a family with kids in...so if you have kids, keep them quiet for the other guests. I will be back anytime I'm spending a weekend in Tucson!”

“I moved here for what was supposed to be a few months, while building on my property. 7 months later, I am finding it hard to leave! Whether you are looking for a weekend get away or a long term stay, please give them a look. The hosts are amazing, always there to lend a hand and create a great experience. The cantina is awesome to sit and read a book, or watch the Herons fish. You can cook up a meal, potluck with other RVers, or have a pizza party in their new pizza oven. The ranch has plenty of room for kids to explore or take your dog for a walk. The sunsets are spectacular. I can't recommend this place enough. I would stay forever if I didn't have a house to move into!!”
