“Nothing better than a nice day in Arizona. The heat is starting to come in and the time to go outside is coming to an end. But we have so many trails here they're never ending I could post for years and probably never ride the same one. Started just off a highway 87 and went off is Evan and with all the way over to Roosevelt lake. Check that up for peaks radio tower and all the way down to the lake. Round trip goofing off time out there for about 6 hours. You can do it in your truck but you are definitely going to need to lower the air pressure in your tires. But you will need a way to air them backup. We were on a side-by-side is my side tire pressures around 6PSI and suspension set on soft, Able to do about 35 miles an hour comfortably. You will not be able to achieve the speed in your car but you can still take the whole trip in your car. Hope everyone has a good day and a good time if you go. Always feel free to ask me questions.”

“Great park area. Plenty of parking. Had numerous places to set up with tables and grills. Nice hiking trails along the cliff and rivers edge. Had the opportunity to see some of the Salt River Wild Horse herd today. Beautiful animals. Just wish people would remember that they are wild animals and wouldn't try to get o early close to them. People spooked several of them away while trying to get closer.”

“I loved that you opened your farm for the fair it is beautiful. I would love to go again sometime when there are not so many people. Your sunflower patch is amazing, I love the fig trees, and the Moringa tree was beautiful. You are adding a lot of beautiful things to the area. I'm just sorry I didn't get more pictures of your place. Thank you for sharing it with everyone. My family really enjoyed the night. When seeing people carrying the sunflowers, I was very apalled We stopped someone on our way out and asked if they were allowed to pick the sunflowers, "Well they can't stop a crowd" was their response. For those of you that picked their sunflowers shame on you, you either don't know what it takes to work hard or you are just plain rude!!!! You should not be welcomed anywhere!!!!!!”

Nice camp store with a small variety of cute souvenirs, refreshing pool and hot tub (yes, even in 98° heat), several outdoor kitchens with sinks, clean and level gravel sites for RVs and tents, clean dog run with rakes, shovels and a hose, gorgeous scenic views, game room...the list goes on. Camp hosts were lovely and wrapped up our purchase for shipping. Guests were quiet and friendly. My only regret is not staying longer.”

Sonoran Mountain Ranch Park

Address: 7098 W Miner Trail, Peoria, AZ 85383, USA

“This is a wonderful, mid-sized desert-suburban park, right at the edge of some preserved state land, and adjacent to the East Wing trailhead, a gorgeous, 2.4 mile round-trip hike. The western edge of the park empties out onto state land, with mostly flat, dirt trails. Very scenic. The playground isn't giant, but it's nice. No swings, though. There is a restroom, basketball courts, and a multi-purpose field. The parking lot is pretty narrow. Overall, a beautiful park , especially if you want a more natural setting for exploration and free play.”

“I remember visiting here a very long time ago. The cavern is basically the same thanks to thoughtful preservation efforts 👌. The tour was lovely. We had a great tour guide. He shared his "cave humor" and he obviously has a great passion for the caverns. This is a DO NOT MISS when in the area. We'll worth that $20-ish ticket. You must make reservations and the tours fill up fast so vest to plan ahead for this adventure.”

There's an exercise area and an Ramada but there are no seats in the Ramada. They also have small water fountains but they aren't very cold sensor in the direct sun.”

Madera Canyon

Address: S Madera Canyon Rd, Amado, AZ 85645, USA

“We hiked Old Baldy trail up to Josephine Saddle and back. It is a steady climb up, with some larger rocks, but the path is well maintained and moderately trafficked. It's a moderately difficult trail, takes about 60-90min to get to the Saddle, much faster down 🙂 there are some nice views along the way but it is largely obstructed with trees. Overall, a good hike!”
