“We got home with our family at 11:00 PM and quickly found out that all of the toilets and showers in the house had backed up. 3 toilets and showers were spewing foul smelling water onto the floors in the bathrooms, and we knew that we couldn't wait until the morning. After calling several other "established" plumbers who indicated that they wouldn't be able to come out until the morning, we found Harry and his company online. He was able to come to us within 45 minutes (which was on the low end of a 45-60 minute estimate) at midnight, just as he indicated when we called him. He was able to address the problem quickly and efficiently, and now everything works in our house! “The shop is unique in every respect. From the serene Buddha statues and paintings, to the colorful portraits of Eddie Murphy, to the tasteful jazz standards that blast through the whole shop, this is not one barber shop to pass up. Going perfectly with the scene is the skill of the owner, Sy, and the chill artists that work there. You can tell walking in and seeing not only their fresh cuts, but the cuts of their clients, that you're in for a damn good haircut. Be forewarned, the place is popular for a reason. It's better to call ahead and make a same day appointment, otherwise you might be waiting awhile. I was a walk-in and had to wait more than an hour to finally get in the chair, but, man, was it worth it. My man, Fabian, hooked it up with a fresh, clean undercut, all with a tapered mid-fade and a subtle, but sophisticated line. Definitely one of the best haircuts I've ever gotten. 11/10. Would recommend.”

“This is by far one of the best barbershops I’ve ever been too. They have great energy and vibes here. It feels like home, everyone is friends, everyone is talking to each other, and it’s a very comforting shop to go to when it’s time for a cut. I have also officially gotten a cut from each barber at this location. Each one is a fantastic artist when it comes to cutting/sculpting the hair on your head and face (if you have facial hair). I enjoyed getting a cut from each one and having conversations with them, each one is very involved with you talking and making sure they create that perfect cut you are looking for and want and just having a conversation with you. The end result is the same for the cut just with a bit of a different flavor from each one and you notice it and experience it. If they aren’t talking, keep in mind, they are artists, they are focused on sculpting/cutting your hair to make sure they get it correctly the way you asked for. I usually get my cut from Oscar and mainly go to him (if he is available) because we are around the same age, though it does depend on the type of flavor I’m looking for when it comes to my cut so I may decide to go to the other barber who is available. But today he was booked and busy so I got my cut from Lee. It was an amazing experience with Lee especially sense we connected when I mentioned I’m a musician and wanting to become a music therapist. It’s always a great experience coming to this location. You can’t go wrong with this barbershop. If you’re contemplating this place, give it a chance, call ahead to make an appointment and I’m sure, you’ll be happy with the results. “Alcott Rehab Hospital is the first experience I have had when it comes to senior care. Because of an unfortunate accident, my older sister (age 87) required constant medical attention and in my time of need Alcott reached out to me. Once she was admitted, the level of care I saw provided for her at Alcott was extraordinary. The 24/7 attention by the staff and the ease to which I could access therapists and doctors helped me tremendously in seeing that my sister had a real chance at recovery. We are only one month into her admittance at Alcott but I know that I could not have asked for anything greater than what we are receiving here.
