“The even was small. But cute and a nice way to get into the holiday spirit. The elves dancing was cute, the tram ride was nice to see the elves tight rope walking and doing acrobatics and to see the light display with santa at the end. Also a special added touch was the santa letter ornament which i thought was adorable. The snacks they had were good. I loved the hot cocoa and the roasted almonds, it was nice to watch the people having a great time ice skating at the rink. I had a nice time with my family. Little children will definitely love.”

“On our recent trip to California to attend a concert at the Hollywood Bowl, we were searching for budget-friendly accommodations with parking. We discovered the BLVD Hotel & Spa and decided to book a room for one night. Upon arrival, we parked our car in their lot and proceeded to check in to our room. Our hotel room was located on the second floor. One of the things I appreciated about the hotel was the motivational quotes displayed on the walls. The room itself was tidy, peaceful, and equipped with all the essentials one might need for a comfortable stay. The hotel pool and gym have limited hours, but the gym has all the necessary equipment for a workout. If you're in need of a quick breakfast, the lobby offers coffee, tea, and packaged breakfast options at reasonable prices. One of the best things about this hotel is its prime location, just a short walk from Universal Studios. Additionally, the shower head provides multiple options and allows guests to adjust water pressure to their preference. Furthermore, the cost for overnight parking at the hotel is only $30, which is significantly cheaper than nearby parking options and garages. Overall, the hotel was a great fit for our needs.”

“I stood here two separate occasions and both experiences were wonderful. The rooms are a bit small but very clean. Rooms had a/c , cable t.v, comfortable beds. Some rooms have bathrooms for a little extra. The owner and his wife were so nice and professional. Very welcoming and took care of all our needs during our stay. “Great value for the price. Cheaper than a Motel 6 or Quality Inn but definitely a better deal. The water took a good 10-15 to heat up, but it did get warm. One side of my bed was painful to sleep on, but the the other side felt comfy as a cloud. The fan unit in my room was broken, but the absence of weather stripping under the door allowed for the fresh air I needed. I didn’t find any sort of dirt, hair, or filth like I’ve seen on my last few cheap motel visits to other places. Other customers in the parking lot seemed nice and I didn’t deal with any tweakers or negative personalities. Owner was friendly and very helpful.”

“The rooms are small but they have everything you need, the beds are comfy and the A/C works well. Good water pressure and good water heat. This is exactly across from the beach and is perfectly located for a vacation stay. The front desk was very accommodating and helpful. The only thing I would say is don't stay here if you have any walking problems because all rooms are up some steep stairs.”

“Very clean and updated rooms. Close to town, vons, and mini-golf. Kinda small but you dont go to Catalina to sit in a hotel room. Front desk ladies were very nice and professional. Checking in and out was simple and easy. Only thing I would like to mention is there is no elevator. Didnt mind but being on the 4th floor will give you a great leg exercise. Would definitely stay here again.”

The rooms come with a mini fridge, free HBO (Roku), free Wi-Fi, a remote for the air conditioner, and a table + chairs. The downside is there's no hair dryer in the bathroom and the ice machine wasn't working when I visited. The location isn't the best, but it's definitely a solid hotel for the price.”

“I lived at the Sun Harbour apartment complex for over 3 years (August 2019 - October 2022) and felt very comfortable there. I really appreciated the beautiful trees and foliage inside. It was quiet and safe and reasonably priced. The manager, Jill, is professional and thorough - she works very hard, along with the maintenance staff, to keep the complex clean and updated. The owners have started increasing the rent (my rent was increased twice in 2022) since the pandemic, which didn’t sit well with me. The water and power gets shut off periodically for maintenance, which is frustrating. Overall, I would highly recommend this community if you want a safe, quiet apartment home located next to both a residential neighborhood (Franklin Park) and retail with a responsive manager.”
