“Wish I would have got the guys name but the gentleman working the Night Shift on the 11th of July was amazing! Super nice and even let us get into the pool for an hour or so even though it was closed. Rooms are very clean and nice homey feeling. It was pretty quiet and even when there were distracting patrons with loud music the staff was quick to get them to be quiet. I would definitely recommend this place to stay.”

“We were looking for a place close to family we were there to visit, and this is where we ended up. Hard to rate, in a way, because we stayed just one night, and it looked like the hotel was in the middle of some pretty major renovating. Our room was comfortable, certainly adequate, but looked like it was being remodeled as well: big, virtually empty room as we entered, just two small tables in it. Looked like at some point, possibly another bed--or more likely a pull-out sleeper couch--would be added, since there was a TV in that room as well as one in the bedroom. Bed was comfortable, shower was great (except that because of the way the door slid, you couldn't turn the water on before you got in the shower without getting water all over the floor). Lots of traffic noise, sirens in the area, some pops that could've been firecrackers or something else outside the building during the night. The elevator we used had non-responsive buttons: the door would close, but then when we pushed a button to go up or down, the elevator didn't move. One time we got it to go finally; the other time we ended up getting out and going to a different elevator. Some hallway carpets were dirty (as were the stairwells), some were covered in plastic, some were missing entirely. Despite all that, our stay was uneventful, comfortable and affordable.”

“Great place to stay! Not too far from Venice Beach, walking distance maybe 4 blocks. Either way great walk and around restaurants and clubs. Beds are soft and cozy, especially the pillows. Shower had great water pressure. Everything was clean and felt homey. Only issue is the coffee. They have a Kueregin the room but the water bottles are $5 each *we brought our water* and the sugar and creamer or in packages. They do not have coffee or breakfast in the lobby because of the pandemic. The website had complimentary breakfast. No worries though bc a Starbucks and other coffee places are in the area. All in all, I'd stay here over and over. Definitely get the parking package! Worth every penny.”

She is so amazing and made our experience top notch. The room was adorable, very cozy and clean. The location was extremely convenient and even had parking available. “This place is amazing, private parking, private EV charging (Tesla 220 volt!!!), and full service from an amazing host. We couldn’t have asked for any better! We stayed here at Penthouse One, while moving home and booked direct rather than paying extra to go through AirBnB or VRBO. We ended up staying for 4 months and this location was the perfect ‘home-between-home’! Natalia is the housekeeper and such a lovely lady! Kevin will go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as perfect as possible.”

“I've gone to Emerald Bay multiple years with my sons and their boy scout troop. What a great experience! The staff, facilities and food ("Fruit Punch! Haven't had it? Haven't lived.") are great, but the best part was the focus on living the scout law and extra opportunities than just the merit badge classes. Our troop has loved the values game and the pirate program over the years. We have several "Brigands" and even a couple "Anchormen" now. Also "Ranger Sean!" He remembered our boys by name over several years. If he's not careful he will end up as chief scout executive. Four stars only for two reasons. Difficult to get to and the cost has been prohibitive for some of our scouts. We want all our boys, even the disadvantaged ones, to have these experiences. All our scouts want to keep going back and I understand why. Great job Camp Emerald Bay!”

“We live on a Chris Craft in San Diego and look at us we wanted to stay two nights on different boats we stayed on the Sea Peepers for the first night, lovely linens and bed are so comfortable. Everything you needed, including a little basket for breakfast. Will be back…. the other review is for the Serenity little very cozy again, the bedding on the bed was so comfortable We fell right to sleep. If you want a “cookie cutter” room with standard features, this might not be for you…We wanted a classic beach area rental and loved it! 😀 It felt like an old Route 66 motor inn!…reasonable price, clean & safe, absolutely…plus lots of charm & local flavor…adorable bungalow style…each with a table & chairs outside!
