“We had an excellent stay during our visit to Santa Clarita. The hotel room was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was nice and hot with lots of pressure. We were on the bottom floor and it very quiet. The hotel is located in a nice convenient location to downtown with plenty of parking.”

“I loved the theme at the Garland! Really neat decor, tastefully done. Service was great, pool was amazing in the morning, but was busy in the evening. Loved that they had a laundry facility, I did all my laundry before I returned back to London! There's a free shuttle bus to universal studios, which was 6mins away. I went for breakfast in the morning at the restaurant and had the French toast, which was absolute perfection! My only gripe about the Garland was that as a room of four guests, they room was very small. There was barely any space for four of us to open our suitcases. And you could hear the traffic outside. Regardless I enjoyed my time here! And happy enough!”

“I live here and I never had any problems. Manager is always in office from Monday -Friday from 10am-5pm. Maintenance man goes around every day sweeping and checking for anything wrong. Friendly manager and friendly neighbors. Close to food places, stores & convenient to have a restaurant, liquor & mini market on the same block. Would recommend to family & friends.”

“I love just this place… Always clean and very quiet :) The park grounds are beautiful. Tall trees, green grass and neighbors yards are kept neat with many beautiful plants. The breeze that comes through here is always a pleasure. The manager’s have always been polite and attentive. If I have a question or concern, I speak with them as I would want to be spoken to, polite and to the point. Sara has always been professional and straight up since day one. I have never had a problem… Rule’s are set here for a reason. I’m sure they are set by the owners and not the manager’s. So follow the rules and LIVE HAPPY IN PARADISE ~”

“The motel is in a great location, staff is very friendly and there's parking in front of each room with security 24h, something really important while in LA. The room had everything we needed, fridge, microwave, AC and a portable heater. The rooms were old and a bit of improvement could make it better, like fixing doors or windous. The Bed was super comfortable. The room was clean, but the carpet is very old and has a lot of stains. There's a bit of traffic noise, but nothing that will be a problem while sleeping, they also provide earplugs, so that's really nice. Overall I enjoyed my stay and the price is great, I would stay there again if needed.”

I met one of the people that tends to the house, she was super sweet and made me feel welcome (can't remember her name, sorry). I lived here for about 6 years from when I was about 6 years old to when I was 12. It was easy for my parents to let me go outside and play with my friends without them having to worry about the dangers of living in a neighborhood accessible to strangers. I made a lot of friends and great memories here and i recommend you take your time to really check this place out, it's worth it.”

“I attended a TFS Properties seminar in early 2019 at suggestion by a friend because I was contemplating on selling an investment property and executing a 1031 exchange. “Very nice hotel for a reasonable price. It's located right off the main street (Crescent) so is very convenient for restaurants and other activities. The rooms are clean and quiet and look like they were recently renovated. Ours even had a jacuzzi built into the bathtub. A nice touch is the fire pit in the courtyard that is on from 6 to 9 pm daily. It's nice to sit around the fire and relax after a day of outdoor activities. Also they have free hot coffee, tea, and hot chocolate throughout the day in the courtyard, and free pastries in the morning. One thing I would recommend is that you try to get an upstairs room. I think we had a herd of disco-loving elephants staying in the room above us who liked to rearrange furniture at 6:30 in the morning. Just a suggestion...”

“Five of us stayed at the Guest House here for a long weekend and enjoyed our stay immensely! The accommodations were excellent with the pool/jacuzzi area in particular being a highlight. The team was incredibly responsive both leading up to and during the stay. The location was great as well, being tucked away peacefully up in the hills but still conveniently close to town and points of interest. I'd highly recommend the Retreat and would stay again in a heartbeat next time I'm in the area!”
