“I come to played cards almost everyday. I loved playing blackjack here. No collection and no busted. The dealers are nice and players were great. I also played paigow tiles. The area is spacious and big TV to watch sports. The reason I gave 4 stars because there was a casino host name Jessica. All she does is shoeshine players and argue with players. There is no needs of her on floor. We had floor persons already. I am going stopping coming here due to her. Toxic environment at tile section because of her.”

“Was there for the wedding of a friend - the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was lovely with lovely bath products and the rain showerhead was awesome. The staff were gracious, friendly and very helpful (helped with maps, walking directions, etc). Food was a generous portion and extremely tasty. Izzy and Dennis were the best bartenders I've ever had and I've been to a few bars in my day! Would definitely stay here again.”

“Staff is super helpful and friendly! I had an issue with my debit card and was offered help by one of the staff members (her name is Sandra and she's so nice!). The laundromat is extremely neat and clean, from the floor to the washers and dryers. There is ample seating and folding space, and working coin machines - although the machines accept cards as well. Parking is a little tight, so be mindful. Anyone looking for a reasonably-priced laundromat should definitely check it out - I know I'll be back!”

“I LOVE this hotel. The prices are decent, the entire staff (including housekeepers) is very friendly & welcoming...The ladies will always clean my room the days I stayed here (for a few days almost every week), changed the bedsheets, sanitized the entire room as well as added extra soaps, shampoos, etc. for my daughter & I. BTW, everything is in close proximity/walking distance! There's a lot of places to shop, fast foods, nail shops, BOA, liquor stores, pharmacy, etc.. I highly recommend this hotel! Thanks so much to the receptionists @ the front desk who always accommodate my stays here...I absolutely LOVE the renovation on this place! Can't wait to come back soon!”

“This hotel is a great find! It is close to Hollywood walk of fame and Universal Studios. It is clean, well staffed and reasonably priced. I appreciated the retro Hollywood style decor and their collection of photographs. There is a nice kitchen nook in the room with a microwave and fridge. Bathroom is spacious. There is plenty of free parking. They have a great diner and what looked like a pretty busy bar downstairs. If their mattress didn’t give us back pain, it would have been the perfect stay.”

“Fantastic stay at a great property. Everything is new, fresh and modern. The staff is well trained, welcoming and very prompt. At most hotels over the past few years, staffing problems have a significant and negative impact on guest experience but they are doing it right and everyone was extremely pleasant and helpful. We loved our room and the iconic view of downtown LA. Food was also great both in the restaurants and room service. I was not familiar with the Pendry brand and chose it because it's part of the Preferred Hotel network. They've made a fan out of me and I will definitely be back!”

“I got the opportunity to stay at this beautiful hotel over the past weekend. The entire staff we encountered was friendly and engaging. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and special. The hotel and guestroom was clean and well decorated. We enjoyed the history and photographs throughout. The location of the hotel was perfect and the views were breathtaking. We enjoyed our private balcony all throughout the day. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to visit again soon.”

“I’ve been in the complex it’s very beautiful on the quieter side we actually were parked at norms restaurant which is where we went into the wall that divides the property put my location as Southbay Estates actuality we were 20 feet from Norms front door but I have been in there it is pleasant and peaceful and nice.”

“Room was nice but extra calls from owner not so much. First for parking, apparently the marked spot where I was at was in the LOS of the cameras, i was asked to move which I did. Second the wake up call 30 mins before checkout was new to me. I suppose bc they charge should you stay over was the reason.”

Those who come here and complain that this place is old and rickety, complain about pillows not being new, ceiling needing repairs, outdated furniture, must first explain what brings their first-class sensibilities to a place like Vermont and Florence to begin with.”

“I visited a friend. Of course the mobile homes are individually owned, and hers is nice and also big, but I can't speak for everyone. They do seem to keep it up well. The streets are very buckled and have huge puddles when it rains, but I think that is because it is built on a landfill. They say it is sinking a bit. All in all, the place is very quiet for such a large part. They have security at night. It's a shame that it was built on a landfill, because I think without that, it would be a really nice place to live.”

“Super friendly and accommodating staff! Awesome check in and check out times, better than any other hotel. A real breakfast including eggs and either bacon or sausage and pancakes or waffles, plus all the normal stuff like juice, coffee, muffins, fruit, cereal, bagels. Nice pool and hot tub. Pretty standard rooms, not the best sound proofing but other than that I loved my stay and I will be staying there again in the future!”
