“A must do if you're visiting Hollywood. It's fun to walk around the exhibitions. The whole place is interactive so you can play around and get some good pictures. The added little accessories here and there to make it extra fun. You can feel part of the movie for a minute. I think that was my favorite part, the movie exhibition. And well pretty much every celebrity wax figure look pretty real.”

“Entertaining docent lead tour was a good way to spend a Sunday morning. May your reservation request via email, they get back to you pretty quickly. It’s $20 per person at the door…cash only so hit the ATM before you get there to avoid any issues. Parking is in the street. Not a problem. The tour was almost 2 hours long. Lots to see and you get a little insight into an eccentric mind. It’s not a place you will return to once a year but certainly should do once.”

“The Bradford House is a historic property that is currently a museum run by the Placentia Founders Society. This Victorian-style house, which was constructed in 1902, was once the home of the Bradford family. A visit to this living museum provides you with a look into the daily life of a pioneer family during that time period. As you explore the two stories and 15 rooms of the home, you’ll see many artefacts, period furnishings, coved ceilings and a double fireplace. Guided tours of the house are available on certain days of the month.”

“We are very happy to have a chance to visit this small but full of railroad history museum. We are welcomed by a kind lady who introduced us a senior museum narrator. He’s a very kind person and he explained bit by bit the history and significance of almost all exhibits, even in and out of this current still-used rail station. It largely increased our knowledge on the development of railroad history in LA region and beyond. Thanks for keeping such a wonderful historical site.”

“I inherited two oil on wood paintings from my grandmother that were in terrible shape. Honestly so bad, I was embarrassed to bring them in. Hayk spent time carefully explaining the process and the time line. I have the first one back and it looks like a museum piece. I am over the moon! Five enthusiastic stars.”

“Wonderful little museum full of local history which is fascinating. Barbara and Beverly were wonderful hosts while we were there and were more than happy to answer questions or just chat. They are very obviously lovers of Tehachapi so they're great at their jobs. If you're intrigued by local small town history like me, I highly recommend a visit. Also leave time to visit the Errea House across the street as well as the train depot a couple blocks away. You can also get lost in the many Antique and Vintage stores close by as well as the various restaurants. We can't wait to go back!”

“Another Hidden Gem !!! Located in Santa Ana, O.C., it’s pretty close to the downtown area. The museum has an amazing collection of Polynesian artifacts, which I think is the main draw of this museum. It also features a little bit of Chinese, Hispanic, early California and some Mission pieces and the way things are curated are easy on the senses. They also added some thematic music to the exhibit rooms that added to the overall vibe as if you’re being taken back in the time and this was one of my personal favorites of my visit because museums usually don’t play music in their galleries. The museum’s architecture is patterned after the early California Missions but the entrance is modern. The gift shop is nice and there is also a restaurant on site. There is ample parking across or you can do street parking as long as you’re conscious of the allotted time. I also wanted to add that they did a neat exhibit on Mt. Everest. Lastly, dedicating a gallery for California’s budding artists is the way to go, so Congratulations!!! May I suggest if they can include educators to their discounted entry, that’s a win. Bring the family and enjoy!”

There is also a native garden which informs visitors of the historical and cultural usage of these plants for the Cahuilla.
