“One of the better open space I've been too. Definitely very nice scenery on a clody day. Everything looks more sharp, with more contrast.”

Welte Park

Address: 6512 Freeport Dr, Highlands Ranch, CO 80130, USA

Park

“Very nice. Something about the surrounding neighborhood gives this playground a great feel. It's walk in, like most and I don't think it gets too windy there because of its low area surrounded by nice backyards. I think there is a 2-5 playground and a 5 and up.”

Deputy Zack S. Parrish III Memorial Park

Address: 2020 Fiddle Rd, Castle Rock, CO 80109, USA

Park

“Went to this park today, as I had gone in the past. And I had a pleasant experience at the park. To start, there's a lot of open space and tables nearby, so there's room to do other activities. Then the playground is very fun, it includes some high slides, a zipline, some obstacles courses, and other equipment. I recommend coming here, great place for your children.”

Rainbow Falls Area

Address: Sedalia, CO 80135, USA

“Absolutely gorgeous! Awesome drive ( 4x4 trails), camping trip, day trip or anything in between! You can still see where the fires were, but it's still a spectacular view. Definitely going back. Quite peaceful.”

Digger's at Dad Clark Park

Address: 3385 Astorbrook Cir, Highlands Ranch, CO 80126, USA

Park

“This is a smaller dog park so it can get crowded rather easily. The off times aren't to bad to go to but during the busy time it will be unenjoyable there can just be to many dogs there at once. Please as always don't bring a mean dog to a dog park it never works out.”

Du Pont Park

Address: Louviers, CO 80131, USA

Park

“Visiting my son who lives in nearby community and he wanted to show me this nice short hiking trail he enjoys. Amazed at how the park looks with ball diamond, park shelter and the Greenest grass surrounding I've seen in Colorado. Yes I'm from the Midwest. The short trail eventually took us to a creek with and abundance of deer just grazing and checking us out. For some reason it felt like the air was cooler with humidity versus the dry air your accustom too once you leave the park. Maybe explains the abundance of trees and greenery. Nice Job with the Park”

Challenge Hill and Trails at Philip S. Miller Park

Address: 1375 W Plum Creek Pkwy, Castle Rock, CO 80109, USA

Park

“I stopped on my way down to Colorado Springs to give this a try and was able to do 4 summits. The first one I took the longer winding .7 Mile Trail down to the bottom, but the next three I just went up the stairs and came straight back down. Fastest time up was 2:15min, and down in 2min. I saw that the Strava record is 40 seconds. Definitely got my heart pumping and by the 3rd and 4th time up I had to stop and rest a few times on the stairs.”

“2021‐05: Party for a dog This was our 1st time here. We went here to attend a dog birthday party!! Sufficient parking spaces. Easy to find. There were areas for small-medium dogs and large dogs. Obstacle courses for dogs. Water station. Picnic shelters with tables inside and outside the park area. It doesnt smell like dog poop. There is a toilet for both genders. We will come back here again for puppy socialization! 🐶 Have a great day! If you find this review helpful, please give it a thumbs up 👍🏼”

Toepfer Park

Address: 9320 Venneford Ranch Rd, Highlands Ranch, CO 80126, USA

“Toddler friendly playground!! The wide and low sloping slide and bucket swings were a huge hit with my fifteen month old. A covered picnic table area makes snack time a breeze. Deducting one star because some of the play equipment felt a little worn and dated.”

Cheese Ranch

“Absolutely amazing! I left from Colorado Springs and was headed back to Denver, when a local Fly Shop in Colorado Springs had advised me to come up to this area if I wanted some good fly fishing. Well if you know an angler that here's about a honey hole, and they don't jump on it, anyways absolutely gorgeous, one thing to note though the bathrooms don't have toilet paper, so remember folks you are out in the middle of nowhere! Secondly, you will not get cell phone reception!! Fly fishing is known as the quiet sport......... Yes it's nice to go tubing down the river and yes it's nice to stay up late and party and then get up well after the sun comes up. But remember to be considerate towards all of those that are camping, or in some cases are actually doing old school fly fishing.”
