“First night here at the 'Lil Mingo (Little Flamingo) and it's beautifully quiet. Even on a Saturday night! The location is perfect to get to Tampa or Orlando via i-75 about 8 minutes from this RV park. Staff very kind and helpful, and rates are not bad either. Perfect location for our one week lay-over to a long term location we've reserved in Land O' Lakes. Enjoy the humidity Ladies and Germs.. (ok folks, go home and ride your snowmobiles):)🤣😂”

“This community is a quiet place. Many helpful services for the people that live in it. Yes a couple documentaries have been made about the community which has drawn extra attention to it. The grounds are well kept. It is truly a adult only community. You do not find people just hanging out that do not live in the park. As some of these reviews state: "people have to live some place". Again I will say grounds are well kept and it is a quiet place with little outside traffic.”

“Timber lane is absolutely perfectly wonderful. It's Beautiful here tucked back in nature. Wonderful heated! pool area. Having a clean laundry room right off the pool is excellent! you can swim while you do laundry. Lisa (owner) and her parents Steve & Deb went above and beyond my expectations. They knew I was a RV newbie and they helped set me up too perfection! made sure I had what I needed and was set up properly. They gave me excellence advice and tips. Lisa has a whole list of local restaurants, retail shops etc. Could recommend good Rv technicians even local dentists. I asked about a chiropractor, she had one. I feel very safe here and It already feels like home. Oh and I can't forget about my Awesome neighbors. Love and Gratitude”

“We spent a beautiful night here in January, 2022 This was our first experience at this base. It’s my favorite base campsite of all the ones we’ve been to so far in Florida. We set our tent up facing the water and the sunset was sublime. Clean facilities and friendly folks all around us. You can’t beat the views here, we love seeing all the ships in distance. Big tankers and other large ships passing by ensure it is never boring. We shall return!”
