“Nice area for dogs. Separate big dog area that is for dogs > 30 lbs and also a small dogs area. Some areas can get a little muddy though. Bring water in the colder weather since I think the faucets are shut off due to freezing conditions. You’re going to inevitably find owners who don’t know how to control their dogs but overall not bad.”

“We traveled from Columbus, GA to compete in a rugby match here. The field was well kept and in good condition. It was a little small, and had lines from several different sports on the field making it kind of confusing to know exactly where our field line designations were in a hurry or during play.”

“We stayed here for 1 month after we moved out from Utah while we were buying a house, and it was perfect for what we needed! The campground has a great location, close to shops, restaurants, etc... The campground itself has some really nice scenery. The lakes are pretty and the trails around either side are very fun to walk. The employees were always kind and helpful. A lot of people seem to be staying there on some sort of extended basis so it feels very friendly around the campground. There seem to be nice lakefront spots for people on shorter stays. Overall, highly recommend!”

“Really calm and peaceful spot of Lake Lanier. Drive out here was nice. Lots of shade. Grills available for bbq. Large pavilion looked great for a birthday setup. Overall a really great spot to relax. Restrooms were a little gross though.”

“Dunaway Gardens is 20 acres. We walked through approximately two & were there for almost three hours. There's so much to see every square foot & the grounds are well kept. Be prepared to stop a lot & just admire its beauty. There are nooks tucked within nooks, pathways just off well-walked trails that lead to waterfalls & other hidden spaces for you to enjoy.”

“UPDATE FEELING HAPPY TO KNOW THEY WILL BE UPDATING THE PARK!!!! Played kickball on the soccer field on a nice Sunday afternoon. Neighborhood and area was really nice, almost too nice for this field. There was a large hole in the center of the field with a spray painted tire in it. Was a bit interesting to maneuver around it while trying not to bust my behind sliding on the wet muddy grass in turf shoes. Hopefully it won't be there too long and no one gets hurt. Other than that, it was a good back up park to the original location.”

“I played tennis outdoors on a hard court. Great courts, unusually calm that day. They have clay courts as well as indoor courts. The courts numbers seem a little weird .”

“From start to finish this facility did an awesome job! They really made me comfortable for my mama to be in their care. Special shout out to Brittany at the front desk. “Only a 20 min drive on 75N from Kennesaw. Beautiful view on the summit especially at sunset. Nice system of trails to choose from. All trails are under 5 miles unless you connect them. If you were to connect all in a day, you could probably make ten or so miles. Two parking lots on opposite sides and exits. Favorite spot for an impulsive hike and or run. 🥾 🥾🥾”

“Clean restrooms, direct access to bike/ run path. ~20 parking spots, maybe more. I'd give it 5 stars if it were accessed more easily to interstate/ 285.”

“This was a well marked trail! We went up the boot trail, which I believe was marked with blue. It was labeled moderate but was a more easy as it was uphill, but was dirt and packed with minimal obstacles. The view at the summit was nice with a good photo op! We went down the trail marked strenuous with the Fatman Squeeze. It recommended hiking poles. There was one area with rocks that required some more hands inclusion for traversing. But overall, it was pretty similar to the boot trail. So, more moderate with the inclusion of the rocks. We enjoy it as it had pretty trees and foliage! There was ample parking—very nice gravel lot with a port-o-potty”

“This place is wonderful, a lot of animal and plant species. Not to mention they have a large variety of trees here. There are placards explaining the different species of trees and animals. Honestly i didn’t see many critters, a few people. But the trails are nice, some sand some rocks. nice parts that go along the creek and the wetlands area. Cool bridges too.”

“We were on the island for a wedding and what a beautiful place! We went during the fall so the ferry ran less than during peak season. But, there is plenty to do to occupy your time. Island was very well maintained, clean despite all of the visitors and there were plenty of picnic tables to rest of needed. There were also plenty of restrooms scattered about. You must bring your own food and/or drinks. The ruins throughout the island and the wild horses were spectacular!”

“A very gorgeous and spacious park located in Kennesaw. There is a skatepark and a huge children playground with plenty of playground equipment to tire out your kids. An enormous picnic area with quite a few picnic tables and plenty of walking trails. This is a one-stop park. I loved it.”

“We love coming here and riding the bike trail. It’s an actual mountain bike trail, not to difficult but a fun challenging 3 mile loop. Super shady, wooded and includes a fun little pump track. Beware of the grumpy man that yells at kids within 10 ft of his fence, seems harmless but is a bit intense. I suppose it’s not easy sharing a property line with a park. There are also several little playgrounds, bathrooms and good parking.”
