The food is delicious, cooked quickly and comes out as you ordered it, rarely have I ever had them make a mistake as someone who both dines in, and takes out on a semi-regular occasion. One of the highlights for me is the staff, everyone I have encountered has been extremely kind and it gives a very welcoming atmosphere. The only downside is the price, which I feel as though is a bit too high considering the amount of business they get, and the fact that there are more competitors coming to town.”

“My high school graduating class recently celebrated our 70th year with a birthday party with about 100 in attendance. Red Barrel catered the event for us and all the feedback we received regarding dinner was positive. The food was absolutely delicious! The potato salad was some of the best I have ever had and I am very funny about potato salad, in fact I usually don't eat it out. Red Barrel arrived when they said they would, were professional to work with, food presentation was good, food was plentiful, and they left the kitchen and buffet area as clean as it was when they arrived. As soon as we said seconds were available the crowd was back at the buffet! When you do not hear one negative regarding a meal, only positives, that says a lot. I highly recommend Red Barrel BBQ & Catering and will definitely contact them for future events.”

She was friendly and efficient. She also walked around checking on the guests like a waitress instead of a cashier. Got a side dish of potato even though I thought it was a little pricey at $3.20. Didn’t really care for it - too much dill pickle and onions for us. We finished things off with a banana split - which was not too bad - ice cream didn’t have a lot of flavor to it but was nice they used hot fudge on it. Worth a stop for sure!”

It was also a Monday. There is ample seating in the bar area and plenty of TVs. The decor has an outdoor, woodsy feel to it. Our server, Leah, was excellent and attentive. They have burgers, sandwiches, pizzas etc. We all chose burgers. They're quite large, but not too bad. My burger had blue cheese crumbles, BBQ sauce, onion straws, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. So good. We also had Spinach Artichoke Dip and California Club Rolls. The egg rolls were awesome and the dip was ok. We want to come back and try some different items.”

“Today we decided to try a new restaurant just outside of Richmond that I had heard rave reviews over. Dos Hermanos is located in the same building as the BP Station, but don't let this fool you at all. This place is my new favorite Mexican restaurant! Very clean inside and the food was better than everyone had described. I had the Dos Hermanos Special which included a grilled chicken breast, grilled steak, special seasoned grilled shrimp on a generous bed of rice with California vegetables. This meal was only $14.99 and was a huge serving. The steak is thin, but very tender and full of flavor. The chicken breast was seasoned and cooked perfectly, but the highlight of the dish without a doubt were the 6 scrumpdullyishous shrimp. These were absolutely to die for! The dish was topped with queso sauce which made every bite even better. My wife had the shredded chicken chimichanga which came with rice and beans. This dish was only $9.99 and was one of the best chimichangas that she has had in a very long time. There was a very generous serving of chicken inside and the flavor was out of this world! There is a very wide variety on the menu and I cannot wait to go back and try something else -- but it will be very difficult to change from what I ordered today. Don't let the fact that this is in the same building as a gas station prevent you from coming here. There is a separate entrance and it is completely separated from the gas station. Again, very clean, excellent food, fast and friendly service. We will return again and again! Without a doubt, the drive is definitely worth the difference.”
