“The beach deli has the best Philly cheesesteaks I've had anywhere in Philadelphia or New Jersey, the owner is cool as hell, and this Bodega has that amazing tasting food that you just can't get on main Street. It's like the bodega culture with the amazing tasting food that I haven't had since I live downtown in Manhattan on 1st avenue. “At Backward Glances, I felt like I was transported back in time. They have quality vintage items that are stocked every week! It was a lot of fun browsing the store; you never know what treasures you can stumble upon. I bought a vintage jean jacket with silver embroidery and sequins; it was in mint condition. I also found 80s banana hair clips, which is awesome, because the modern ones are just not the same. Great prices, great selection, great service. I will certainly be back!”

“I had this place on my radar to go to since they opened several years ago. I finally stopped in yesterday for the first time for lunch. I was greeted warmly by the hostess and waitstaff as soon as I arrived. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is spectacularly beautiful. I could really see this place really hopping in the summer months. My server Jamie was friendly and very attentive, and the food came out super fast. The menu is a tad small and a bit odd, but from what I was told, nothing can be substituted. I do, however, agree with several other reviewers that the prices are pretty high for the amount of food that is served. I ordered the Crab Cake and the Maine Lobster Roll, and both were very tasty, but again, I wish there was more for the price. The Whale Mary cocktail was absolutely fantastic. I even got complimentary french fries to go with my order because of a mix-up. Overall, I was pretty happy with my experience and would dine here again in the future.”

“Great little venue for a concert. Saw They Might Be Giants. Sound was great. Lighting was great. 2 very large and we'll stocked bars. Air conditioning was non existent. That and the lack of seats gives them 4 stars. Cool note, the back half of the room is planks laid over the bowling alleys. Wow!”

“One of my absolute favorite stores because of the fun and quirky culture it creates. Case in point, whenever I worked at my desk job in the city, all of the fun IG videos of the staff dancing and having a great time made me want to be there in Asbury. Besides being one of the best curated boutiques in NJ, it offers payment options that make these quality brands affordable and accessible to most of us. The owner Bianca always goes above and beyond looking for sizes in the back for me when I stop in or great styling advice. But mostly there is a standout quality about the owner and staff of Interwoven. For certain holidays they will actually curate personalized gift boxes that not only support their own store, but other businesses in the Asbury Park Community. I have never seen so many local businesses support one another when most stores would see each other as 'competition'. This is the reason I will keep shopping at Interwoven, because they show they care and love what they do instead of just making a quick buck.”

“What a great transformation from the old tides hotel. We’ve lived next door for 10 years so saw the whole renovation. while Tides had its own charm, you can’t deny the upgrade in everything. We decided to go for some drinks on a weekend and got some delicious cocktails. The inside looked clean and bright with the huge windows installed and overall a cozy, welcoming environment. Poolside also was is a huge upgrade and I’m glad to see they are using the back grass area for additional seating. The staff was amazing and friendly. Looking forward to many afternoons at The St. Laurent and can’t wait to try the food menu next time!”
