“This authentic Yemeni restaurant was amazing! Our waiter Abbas (also head waiter) went above and beyond for us! The good was so flavorful and delicious!! We ordered the Chicken Agdah and Chicken Galabah. Abbas gave us soup and tea on the house. Both really got the spot!! At the end of our meal our waiter gave us hot towels and candy before we left. “Sometimes you just stumble upon a place by complete accident when you aren't in a hurry to get home. We had gone to a distillery on the way home. The lady told us about a local rodeo that had food trucks. We went. My food truck server was wearing a hat from here. I inquired what it was and where it was. It was on our route home. We stopped. Grandslam Homerun. Truly a breathtaking view of the river and just a beautiful building. We had beer that was good. They were having an oyster roast. One of my relatives went for it and ate his weight in roasted oysters. If you are in Elizabeth City you really need to make this place a stop”

“This review is for their 2nd location in The Plaza right near the entrance of Concourse E. It's the perfect location for hungry travelers. The seating has lots of natural sunlight. It's bright, and it's hopping. I've always been a fan of Bojangles' breakfast options. I love that they serve it all day. I'd get the breakfast over the chicken any day. The biscuits are fresh and buttery. They have a Country Ham Biscuit that is pure comfort food. If you love a savory country ham, then this is for you. None of that sugar coating is needed. We'll save that for Honey Baked Hams. This biscuit sandwich hit the spot. I so wish that they would bring Bojangles' back to the Tampa Bay area. For now, I'll just have to connect through CLT to get it. It was super busy when I got there. The line did go by very quickly. The nice guy at the register was very helpful & friendly. I also wanted the sweet potato pie, but they weren't ready yet. They do have iced blueberry biscuits, but one biscuit is enough for me. I just took it as a sign that I really didn't need that pie. It was all good, because I definitely would not have been able to finish it. The service was great. The order came out hot, fresh, and quick. Another person saw my Bojangles' bag while I was sitting at a table, and immediately asked me for directions. I pointed it out, and he was a happy camper. Do yourself a favor and get one of those breakfast sandwiches when passing through CLT.”

“I got the prime rib on a Saturday night. An absolutely beautiful hunk of meat, packed with possibly the most flavor I have had in a steak. And that’s before you put the au jus on it! Prime rib is one of those things that is really easy to do alright but seemingly much harder to do perfectly, but this place nailed it. The sides weren’t just an afterthought either, fries were great of course. A lot of mid-budget restaurants in the South have an applesauce side that is watery garbage as if it was an afterthought, but theirs was surprisingly really good, A tier. Service staff was nice and prompt as well. Not usually my style of place to visit but they knocked it out of the park and I will be back.”
