“Nice little restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. We decided to stop on whim and try a new place. Once we stepped in, you can see that they embrace their namesake. They have hard hats lined above the bar, and it's cool to see all of the different companies represented on them. It is seat yourself, first come first served. There was a bit of a wait for our food, but not off putting. The place was full the whole time, so it was understandable and they did a good job. The serving sizes were good, and the pancakes were huge. They are plate sized and thick, so order wisely lol. Everything tasted great and the staff was friendly and efficient. We will definitely be returning and suggest checking them out when in the area.”

Serving a family of seven we cut straight to the chase and get the party pizza that serves us and provides a few with leftovers in the morning. The sauce is perfectly balanced with seasoning and touch of sweetness. Their cheese is thick and perfectly balances with the hearty crust. When I'm feeling extra I splurge and get a box of jojos to share with the family. They are perfectly crispy and soft inside, one of the best around.”

“Walked in 10 minutes before closing and was welcomed with open arms! We felt so bad when we realized they closed at 9 we tried to get up and leave and they literally wouldn’t let us lol. “Day before Veterans Day with another Veteran was the first time going here. I was surprised that they offered two days for Veterans to get a meal, let alone allowing anything off the regular Menu. The owner was our waitress, she was awesome and very personable. The appetizer was chicken tempura with a sweet honey jalapeno sauce on it. I had the chicken prosciutto with sweet potato fries. Every thing was delicious, the chicken covered with a sheet of prosciutto and cheese with a balsamic glaze was tender, juicy, and flavorful. Asparagus was cooked just right, sweet potato fries didn't need anything extra. Can't wait to go back again and support Prudy's awesome little restaurant. Was the best food I have had in long time.”

“You could tell that things were hectic. There was still training staff going on. Still the same pleasant and cordial place I remember to eat. I’ve been enjoying Bishops since 1977. Same family run atmosphere. They were just opening up again with new staff so I wasn’t looking for perfection. We had a couple hiccups while there, but hey give them a chance. It’s local and the atmosphere is family. It’s not supposed to be fine dining in my opinion. I could tell they were trying to meet there customer needs with good service, food, great deserts, and awesome onion rings. I Will definitely be back with family and friends. Most people like a salad and potatoes with their meat without a upcharge. They also have good service. This is a hidden gem and very close to defiance. Worth the drive outside of town. She told me I just needed to sign and I glanced the in the process of my toddler throwing a fit and just seen it was filled out and didn’t think any of it. She left and I sat down and realized what happened. I mean cool she did sell herself short on a tip because I was going to tip a little more than she wrote but I still think the customer should be able to dictate the tip and not the driver.”
