“My hubby and I enjoy making a quick stop here some mornings before he drops me at work. It's so peaceful to watch the ducks, geese and other birds in the water and the trees in the morning light. It's the perfect start to my day.”

“This is a cute and family friends park. Its small but not too small, as there are play structures and small paths to romp around on. Good place to walk the dog as well.”

“This place is always fun to go to. The pools are clean and clear. It's not too crowded. I love the water slide and the whirlpool. And for locals it's not too expensive. It's a great place to take the family”

“The park is a nice little postage stamp of a spot with structures for kids to play, basket ball hoops, and some tables for an in-the-neighborhood picnic.”

“I have a toddler and a 5 year old so I really appreciate the fact that the playground and splash-pad are so close together so that I don't have to keep getting up and moving from place to place whenever one of my kids decides to change locations. I was able to lay a blanket down on the grass in the shade and stay there the whole time. Really comfortable, super laid-back atmosphere, not too many people. The park was really big... Much bigger than I expected for a small neighborhood park. The main drawback was how many bees there were on the grass with those little white flowers all over the place. Definitely not a place to be barefoot. Overall pretty clean, although I didn't use the bathroom on site, so can't speak for the overall cleanliness.”

“It had been maybe 6 or 7 years since we walked at Powell Butte and returned to find it better than we remembered. Meadow grasses had matured and paths we're in great condition. The steeper trails on the forested back corner were appreciated for variety and a decent workout to boot. Really felt like we had left Portland behind for somewhere very different. An added bonus, due to the topography, the summit loop path is shielded from the traffic noise below making this a sound refuge as well. Ahhh...”

“Clean place with a fun playground for the kids, a nice walking loop with two bridges that go over where you can see ducks and nutria. There's a bathroom, drinking fountain, even one for the four legged friends. There's also a covered area. And, it's right next to the trolley trail for bike riding or a nice walk.”

“Grew up nearby. Tonya Harding lived in the apartments right next to this park during the whole Nancy Kerrigan knee-whacking business went down. My friend's mom lived their too so we knew exactly which apartment was Tonya's, so we'd go knock on her door and yell "Portland police department, serving a search warrant" and oh man did we hear the Tennessee shuffle go on in that apartment when we did. She must've been sh@#*ing her leotard...”

“Had fun wandering around with the wife. Its a pretty short trail really well maintained can be steep at times. Only bad thing is there is alot of development happening and it make it seem a little sad how much of the country side is getting eaten away. But it was very cool and peacefull. The ionized environment from the fall really make you feel revitalized”

“One of my favorite parks on the Willamette River. Round rock beach, I would recommend to anyone who plans on visiting here to bring water shoes or tennis shoes because the beach will shift under your feet and I can Tell you from experience that it's not a soft landing. The boat ramp and shallow grade means there will be tons of jetskis and ski boats making wake but they put on a heck of a show. Beach Patrol is pretty stringent so its not a party destination. Great for families and people looking to take a dip in the water.”

“Gorgeous grounds full of blooming roses and lush grass. We came for a picnic and there was lots of space to spread out and not be clumped together.”

“Foege Park is a lineal park running along both sides of Cedar Hills Blvd. I take my daily walk in a section of the park where there is an 8 foot sidewalk running around a grassy area, so I can walk and still keep my social distance from others. Also, I 'm away from the busy streets with their narrow sidewalks where people walking on the sidewalk would have to step into the street to keep their distance. Lately, someone has been creating children's chalk obstacle courses on the sidewalk I walk on that are just delightful! (And, yes, I do try them out.)”
