“Hales Pass Park appears to be just a baseball field and a repurposed historical school building. I was looking for a pickleball court and missed it on the first visit. They are hidden from the rest of the park by a building marked "private property" and somewhat buried in the shadows of the surrounding trees. The pickleball courts are markings on two fairly decent tennis courts. The courts are unlighted. The nets and court surface are in good shape, although submerged under water from recent rains when I visited. The court seems to be tied up on Wednesday mornings with pickleball league play.”

“Great for kids and families. Lots shades. BBQ there. Bird watchers will find interesting things here. Amazing sunset. Note that it will be closed during summer of 2022 for renovation. There is a $10 fee for entry or pay for Snohomish County yearly pass.”
Address: 169 Cypress Ave, Snohomish, WA 98290, USA
“Beautiful park. Hard to find. Has large fields. Trails to walk. Water is low enough to get down to the beach area as of Sept 2022. Usually is too high. Some graffiti around but good sight lines unless you go down to the water.”

“This is a really beautiful trail. It's short and scenic. Great for families and there's a playground right at the entrance. We loved exploring here and hope to visit again soon.”

“Every time I run or bike back to Seattle through the I-90 bridge, it's hard to resist the urge of taking a picture to appreciate how far I have come. The actual view point is up the hill on Lake Washington Blvd. It's wide open and there are signs to read from. The viewpoint in front of the tunnel is great too. Because of the trees, the view there isn't wide open, but you can definitely see the floating bridge, Mercer Island and Bellevue. There is a tunnel behind the view point and on the other side it's Seattle streets. These multi-use trails are awesome.”

“Pretty nice and varied trails. Signage could be a bit better in some places. Lots of parking. I was there during the week, and I doubt there were more than 5 vehicles. Weekends may be different. Definitely a great place for trail runners, too.”

“My favorite Pokéstop. The neighbors do a great job in maintaining the park for everyone.”

“Was able to call and get a site last minute, stayed for three nights! Owners are incredibly nice!! They have a little store in the office and wood for sale. There’s another worker that goes by and collects trash in the morning. They also had a kid friendly movie playing on the lawn Saturday night! Overall it’s a clean and friendly place!! We already decided to be back next year. Amazing experience”

“Finally made it when open and got all the info and help we needed. I appreciate it greatly, and hope staffing gets boosted soon for all of these agencies. Big thanks to Forest Officer Chloe Allen for helping us out.”
Address: SE Cougar Mountain Dr, Renton, WA 98059, USA
“This trailhead is connected to the larger Cougar Mountain system of trails. There are great ravines, mossy growth, plenty of options for trails. Some trails feature old mining history (clay pit, shafts and entryways) usually not recommended to go in of course. Harvey Manning is atop a tall alpy hill and features a great view point of Lake Sammamish.”

“Awesome park off of lake Washington. We went in the evening as the sun was receding down for the day and caught glimpse of beautiful sunset with hazy sky as well as pier in front. Great place to spend an afternoon with family as kids can take a dip and everyone can relax on the pier or shore. Parking spots are limited so there could be some wait depending on day/time. Overall great park and highly recommend it !!”
Address: 535 Dock St, Tacoma, WA 98402, USA
“Thea’s Park is a hidden gem! Hidden because I almost missed the turn off Dock St into the drive that leads to several parking spots on either side of the drive. Also a couple more spots to park all the way at the end of the drive by the small rock beach. Waterfront park area has a good green space with the large rock at the east end next to The Dock, which adds another place to walk around with a boardwalk on the backside. At the west end of Thea’s is the rock beach, a huge globe surrounded by stones and bricks with names as well as messages, and a tall sign post with “welcome” in many different languages.”

“It's a pretty cool little dog park. There's an agility course, a cute pet donations box, and a double fence entrance to keep unleashed dogs from getting loose and running off. The rules are posted near the agility course and they're pretty standard. It's muddy when it's wet out, and has some shady spots for cooling off. A few benches for the two-legged visitors too.”

“One of our favorites. This Sniffspot is amazing and is as much a treat for us as it is for the hounds. Highly recommended.”

“A beautiful park with a handful of you structures for kids of all ages. The playground is even fenced so the little ones are safe 💗 A beautiful baseball + large field, picnic tables, benches and well maintained bathrooms make this park one of our favorites!”
Address: 1702 NW 62nd St, Seattle, WA 98107, USA
“This is beautiful park, though the play structure is limited. The open space and bar stools are very cute, though we didn’t get to go to the couches because there were 3 people smoking cannabis (even saw one with a bong, lol). Beautiful cherry blossoms and limited street parking around, and we still had a great time.”

“What a beautiful well kept city park. Has a zip line which the kids LOVE! There is also a well kept dog park right next to Osprey park. This playground also has a giant covered basketball area and walking trails straight from the playground area. Highly recommend a visit when in the area with children.”

“Nice little park for your kids and pup. Little to no homeless or drug issues during the day.”
Address: 17415 61st Ave NE, Kenmore, WA 98028, USA
“Beautiful beach, nice bathrooms and what looked to be an ice cream stand. Also a small park for the kiddos. That being said, there are tons of kids here. Great for a family outing. I myself just went paddleboarding with some friends. Parking is limited but plenty along the street. So if you park on the street and have a kayak or paddleboard, you may have a decent distance to walk with it. This park is right off the Burke-Gilman trail. I'll definitely be coming back.”

“Absolutely amazing place, beautiful unique works of arts. Many sculptures outside on property. Only bad thing I can say is the grounds were very muddy. My car got filthy just driving in to park. Where boots!!”

“I really love this park but people need to clean up after themselves. I also feel as though if you reserve a shelter and pay the money they should at least ensure that it is clean and has an empty garbage to use during your party time.”

“Great place to walk your pups. There are some trails through the woods behind the park, our dogs love walking through the trails.”

“Absolutely beautiful and peaceful park along the pure and slow moving Columbia River. Quiet, very little foot traffic. Great place to bring the pups and take in a deep breath to relax. I'll definitely be coming here often now that I'm living in the area. Five stars everyday from me!”
