“Nice park with two playground areas and swing-sets, a soccer field with goals, a full court and a half-court basketball court, two tennis courts, all of them with great surfaces, and a large shelter with clean restrooms and a cold drinking fountain with good-tasting water. The kids love it here.”

“What a little slice of heaven! Quiet, quaint, peaceful and safe! I couldn't be more thankful for our time at Viking Village! And if this beautiful campground isn't enough, it's run by one of the sweetest ladies I've ever met. Sherry literally went out of her way to bring me a bouquet of flowers when she found out I had recently had a birthday. She cares so much for the people that stay here. This place is an absolute gem!”

“This is a quiet and friendly campground, tucked away on the edge of Lake Wisconsin. Offering seasonal as well as overnight camping, there is something for any length of stay. Clean restrooms and showers are always available. There is a sizable play area for kids and an activity pavilion where kids of all ages can find electronic games, billiards, corn hole, and others. Or, just sit by your own camp and enjoy the relaxing pace of the campground. We enjoyed every bit of the time we spent there, making new friends, socializing with others, and taking in the beauty of the surroundings as nature changes seasons.”

“Disc golf review for the short 9 hole portion of the course. The N9 course is great for beginners and a satisfying addition to the other main 18 holes. Sometimes 18 holes just isn't enough. There is a mixture of short and long holes and a few technical holes as you get into the woods. Signage at each of the concrete pads maps out the multiple pin placements (picture show short pins only). Each sign has a screw next to the pin placement on the map so there is no guessing where the basket is. The course wraps around in a giant oval. Getting lost here would take some serious effort. This is a pay to play course. If you don't have a yearly pass, you'll need to go to the chalet parking lot to get a daily pass. I recommend to get your monies worth out of the daily pass, play all 27 holes at that point. Because it is pay to play, the course is well maintained with little to no garbage on this 9 hole section. Baskets are moved frequently as well, giving different looks and options when playing here multiple times throughout the year. The course gets busy on nicer days but the majority of users practice good etiquette and usually let you pass if need be. Early mornings are a great time play.”

“If you are looking for a family friendly campground, I highly recommend Skonewood. I like it that the playground with wide open grass area for sports are available right on sight so it's easy to keep your eyes on the kids. Each stall came with running water and electricity which is a HUGE plus!! The swimming area was great for kids. The float mat was their favorite!! Lots of sunnies if you're looking to fish but not much more than a bunch of sunnies. Once in a while you'll see a few bass come by but that's about it. This was our second time here and would definitely come back again in the future.”

“The accommodations were great and very clean. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best we've been offered at a hotel and the staff was topnotch. Definitely worth a 5 star rating from me.”

“The river trail is so beautiful and rustic, not difficult, but not easy. A great exercise that doesn't feel like one because of the continually changing landscape and beautiful scenery. There's also a paved walkway for those who want a easier route. There is also a skateboarding area, a dog park, picnic tables throughout... everything you need in a park! Oh, and how can I not mention the Biergarten. Great spot with lots of open space. And it's really well maintained. I see volunteers out all the time, painting, picking up things, surveying. Thank you Estabrook!”

“Shamrock Pet Resort provides the best attention and loving care to my dog. The staff are so friendly and sincere they are amazing. Equally amazing is the Groomer Christine. She did such an amazing groom on our Australian Shepherd this week that we thought we were taking home an entirely new dog! Her work was precise and again with lots of love.”

“Clean bathrooms, nice pavilion, soccer fields, looks like a softball/baseball field is being built, two small playgrounds for younger kids, a skate park that is fenced off, walking trails, nice big parking lot, grounds are well kept. Tons of room. Only down side is there's not a ton of picnic tables or seating outside the pavilion area. The soccer fields are quite a walk from the parking lot. Not a big deal for players but could be for older spectators or family of players. Very nice park overall. Will visit again.”

“Gorgeous natural reserve park with beautiful views and plants. We went on a Wednesday midday and there was a lot of open parking spaces and not a lot of people on the trail. The views you see from the location are breathtaking. This would be a gorgeous place to do a nature inspired photoshoot or also great if you want to walk the trail as a form of exercise. There are benches through the trail so you can stop and rest. Overall I would recommend to anyone looking to do a nature walk whether you are local or visiting Port Washington.”

Everyone that works there are so friendly and welcoming. Our trip to this wonderful campground is always a great time !!!”

“This place is pretty cool. They allow you to sign a dollar but whatever you want on it then staple it on to their wall. They serve pizza cheese curds tacos. I went there on Thursday for taco Thursday. The beef taco was pretty good they put lettuce cheese salsa and jalapenos on the taco. They also have a chicken taco which was also really good. They also have cheese curds and cheese curds with garlic. The owner was real polite she took our order give us great service. I'd recommend coming here to get tacos on thursday! 🌮🌮🌮🍺🍻🍽️”
