“Great place to relax, get some steps in and see some interesting sculptures. We went on a beautiful morning and walked through all of the 70+ sculptures. Very interesting, even for people who don't know a lot about art, it is very cool to see. There are cards at each spot to tell you a little about the piece and artist. If this review has helped you, please give it a 👍”

“Fascinating, inspiring interview with artist Yuri Boyko on his current Fabrik project "Meditation on a Tree," in the exhibit "Here Comes the Sun". He is so descriptive of the cognitive aspects of creating art, and the ways human experience can be conveyed by the artist. I'll always see more in trees than ever before. Thank you.”

“I inherited two oil on wood paintings from my grandmother that were in terrible shape. Honestly so bad, I was embarrassed to bring them in. Hayk spent time carefully explaining the process and the time line. I have the first one back and it looks like a museum piece. I am over the moon! Five enthusiastic stars.”

“I'm a Salem resident and I am on a mission to tour all the local attractions AND places of relevance. About this one: This art association is located at the wharf, inside the historical yellow building close to the Friendship vessel and in the Maritime National Historic Park area of Salem. It consists of a gift shop with handmade items from local artists of very reasonable prices, a gallery on the same floor hosting a collection of Paul Nathan artworks, and a large gallery on the second floor. At the time of my visit, the second floor was showcasing a very interesting juried, temporary exhibition of various local visual artists around the theme of storytelling/myths/fairy tales. The gallery is free and open to the public on weekends. I think it can be very enjoyable for locals - especially having always new exhibitions - and visitors alike. If you are visiting Salem, it could make a nice 15/20 minutes visit to get a grasp on the local artistic scene and take a break from more commercial attractions and activities. And to possibly find a unique memento from Salem. Pictures are allowed PROs Artistic, very local and rooted to the true spirit of the town. Free. Pictures allowed. CONs Nothing to say here! 😊”

“While visiting my in-laws in Largo, we decided to get my mom in law an early birthday present - a framed family photo. We wanted it fairly large, suitable for a blank wall in their home here in Florida. But we didn’t think of this idea until just 2 days before our flight home! Not to worry, we popped in and the folks here helped us out in less than 24 hours! When it was ready I arrived to pick up the most stunning photo, printed and framed just as we hoped. The quality of the image is stunning and it looks lovely on the wall. Can’t recommend them enough!”

“I happened upon this charming gallery while killing time waiting to head to the airport for my flight ✈️. What a FIND, I purchased several small pieces for a very reasonable price. John was extremely helpful and answered all my questions and followed up with more information on my artist after I got home. They had an incredible variety of art and artists to consider for both the novice collector (myself) or the experienced one. Definitely worth the stop!”

“We just hosted our 4th birthday party last Saturday, Feb 18, for our 10 year old daughter at Penelope Fox Art Studio. This is the same daughter’s 3rd time to celebrate with a party at this studio, and prior to that, our oldest hosted a birthday party there too. We keep coming back because the parties are always fun, creative and chill, the kids always have a ton of fun, and Jina, the owner, has a relaxing vibe while being completely efficient, creative and organized. She has great rapport with kids of all ages and personalities, and never gets rattled by unforeseen circumstances like guests who come late or even temper tantrums. Jina is super open to any creative ideas, very accommodating, flexible and relaxed. I love that because I tend to be “extra” and stress out a lot. When you get there to set up for the party, Jina will have everything ready; canvas, easels, paints, aprons, even extra tables with tablecloths for your gifts, goody bags, Photo Booth props and even the signs to go with them! If you have creative kids, give Penelope Fox Art Studio a try. My kids have taken art classes there, celebrated 4 birthday parties there, and even I have hosted mom friends twice with a paint & sip party. You won’t be disappointed!”

“You never know what you're gonna find when you visit WHAM but it will always stimulate your imagination and you will always find the friendliest of artists letting you peek into their studios and chat with you about their work. This visit I met up with the coolest bird created from various objects including a wrench, fork, and knives--who woulda thought?! My friend was thrilled to find a great ceramic vase and left contented and smiling.”
