“A beautifully cemetery that is very well taken care of. Very peaceful. Summer there are crepe myrtles blooming around the section where my parents are buried. I love the hearing the bell tower chimes. Very soothing. 3/2018 My dad, a Korean War Veteran, was buried in March and Father Aloysius did the service. He was a very compassionate and kind priest. So glad he did the service. Made it easier on me knowing he truly cared. 8/2014 Whereas, we had a wonderful priest for my father, when my mom was buried, it was the complete opposite! I don't know his name but this was a very cold priest. No condolences or sympathy offered to me what so ever!”

“I can't recommend this gorgeous cemetery and gardens enough. Our Lady of the Rosary is a beautiful, peaceful, and well-cared for place. It is host to myriad gorgeous flowers and is a restful place for loved ones. I really appreciate the inter-faith nature of this cemetery, and their championing of local artists with the installation of beautiful handcrafted monuments and grave markers. I also greatly respect the green burial practice that is an option at this cemetery. Our Lady of the Rosary is a beautiful, peaceful place to wander and reflect.”

“AKA Bradby's Cemetery Cemetery database says this has 26 burials. Does look as though it is kept up and routinely visited, as there are fresh flowers and the grass was only slightly overgrown around the flat burial markers. Saw several Chickahominy Native American burials, including Chief Spotted Eagle. This is a very small cemetery, no signs or historical markers, no parking lot or benches. Just a small parcel at the end of a road, where you park on the side by a group of mailboxes. It was a pleasant stop with trees, grass, quiet and peaceful, pleasant breeze. Would likely be more of a significant stop if you research the history before visiting.”

“This is a beautiful place. My Mom, Dad, brother and now son are all buried here. When my son passed in 2017, they called me about the plot and stone. So very caring. They take very good care of the grounds and summers it is always mown and kept neat. My very heart lays in these grounds. I visit these grounds and one day plan to rest my body here till Jesus comes.”

“The reason I checked 5 stars, I realize it may come across a little weird, is not only are my grandparents buried there, my parents have invested large amounts of their time fixing up the veterans plots. Gordon and Debra Shepard have fixed, aligned all the stones, raised money to install curbing, sprinklers, etc etc... Also, Brody, our family dag, volunteers his time and contributes by chasing off the geese. The geese cause a lot more problems, i.e., they defecate all over the place and make a terrible mess! Brody has chased them off so much over the years, that now when the geese fly up here, they pass over Riverside Cemetery! Because they know that somewhere down there Brody is waiting for them! p.s. No geese were harmed in the clearing of geese at Riverside Cemetery, nor in the training of Brody Shepard! :) ! LOL!”
