“A gem amongst the downtown area. This place is very peaceful with plenty of areas to sit and enjoy the scenery, meditate, or read a good book. The flowers are gorgeous in early spring and worth a trip to see every year. The tombstones are neat to see, dating back to late 1800s on some. The weekend can be busy due to it being a popular photo backdrop for proms, senior pics, etc but weekdays are less crowded and my favorite time to go.”

“The cemetery is kept clean, the grass is mowed every week, the headstones are straight the roads are either paved, asphalt, or gravel. Easy to get around when looking for someone. Areas are marked but it helps if you call the rectory at St. John's church and ask what section the person you are looking for is in. 972/875-2834 is the # to call and ask. “This is not an easy job to have but man, they do it well. We lost our black lab, Cash, unexpectedly and very suddenly just a few days ago. He was only 8 and in perfect health. This was not something that was on our radar so we honestly had no idea what to do when he passed. Ashley was the most helpful and respectful during this entire process. Mason went out of his way to make sure our baby was taken care of as soon as possible. In this overwhelming time, they were a calm in a storm. I can't thank y'all enough for everything you've done. We miss our sweet boy so much.”

“I see that there are some bad reviews but I will have to disagree. We did a cremation burial and they were more than Amazing to us. They prepared the grave site as they would any other burial. The gentleman that helped us was awesome. He helped my 9 year old son kneel down to put his fathers urn into the grave. He waiting patiently and professionally for us to finish our ceremony. He showed us true compassion. I would highly recommend. When I viewed the grave site before the ceremony he was out there cutting grass and doing maintenance out at the graveyard. I think we need to remember just how old this cemetery is and that some of the conditions are due to the age of the headstones and the graveyard it’s self. If you ever have a moment to look around you will see just how old some of the graves are. I think they are doing a great job.”

“My mom passed away September 2021. I met with Tammy she was very empathetic and helpful through this grieving process. She listened to details about what I wanted with my mom's headstone. The headstone was not in due to granite being shipped later, and I knew I had to bury her within that year. Ali that works in the office, God bless her I just adore her!! She made sure before the burial date, (for my mom's crematory ashes) that I had a temporary marker and it even had her picture on it. Very very sweet. This was the hardest process of my life but they definitely did everything to make it smoother and help comfort me. Thank you all so very very much.”
