The pilot met us at Orcas/East Sound Airport, took us up for 45 minutes, and flew where we wanted to go. Before you know it the flight was over and Dan, the pilot was dropping us back off at Orcas Airport. We got a lot of pictures, and were real happy with or choice with Westwind!!”

“I live nearby this airport but the plane I rent is based elsewhere. Aviation sales has always been kind about letting me overnight so I can get an early start the next morning. I don't always buy fuel but they have been more than happy to give me a tie down at no charge. Pilots lounge is huge with nice bathrooms. Staff has always been very kind especially considering I'm not always buying fuel and I sometimes have young children in tow.”

“Chloe did an amazing job on my hair! They were super fun to talk to and really listened to exactly what I wanted. Chloe was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I wanted a balayage but a lot of salons charge +$200 so I tried out the IBMC salon to save some money but I wasn’t expecting much. I was astounded at how well my hair turned out. Students are doing your hair, but they have instructors to advise them. It takes a little bit longer than a stylist who has been doing hair for 20 years but so worth it to save some cash. Everyone was really friendly and the atmosphere was good. No more expensive salons for me.”

“I'm very happy with the screenwriting program. Most of the teachers were really good (I had two teachers that I reeeally didn't like, but during these years I had about twenty teachers or something, probably even more, so most of them were still great) and knew what they were talking about. I did filmmaking for two semesters before I transferred to bfa screenwriting. I wasn't as happy with filmmaking, but it's still good. Most of the teachers were good, but the ones who weren't were pretty terrible. The schedule was also pretty messy, but I learned a lot and got to shoot many different things. NYFA is good, but very intense so be ready for lots of work!”

“My child attends the preschool program that runs 3 days a week for 2 hrs a day. There is a 3 to 1 student to teacher ratio so I know she is getting lots of attention. They use student teachers so your child is getting taught by educators currently seeking higher learning. There is an observatory setting, where classes will come and observe how the children learn and behave and how the teachers are connecting with them. And the student teachers are always being monitored by professionals to assure they are preforming at their best. The program is very affordable. They do require that you spend one 2 hr session with your child per quarter in the class room and another observing. They also require that you attend a parent education meeting once a quarter. So 3 days 2 hrs each. The people running the program are fantastic and the students are great to! We are so grateful for these people and this program! I will say however that if you are looking for a program that does kindergarten readiness this is not it. They do a lot of teaching that is true however they are not checking off boxes to make sure that your child hits all the marks they need to smoothly transition in to kindergarten. My daughter was in the program during her 3rd year of life and I think that it was the most amazing place to transition her into a learning environment because of all the teachers she had a lot of support. For her next year in preschool we are going to transition to a kindergarten readiness program because I am confident that they have given her the tools to move to an environment that is not so one on one.”
