So light, healthy, and fresh, everything tasted homemade and fluffy but also crisp and natural, left a great taste in the mouth and a weightlessly bouncy belly, the tea was exquisitely spiced with exiting exotic flavors, wish more foods had character like this while being friendly to the diet! The pictures are of the Ethiopian breakfast and California croissant, we also had some decadent yet light baklava and sambusa to-go as well! The drinks were an Ethiopian iced tea which was full of life and flavor without being sugary and a hot chai latte which was comfortingly sweet and spicy. It was a quiet cafe-ambience atmosphere with gorgeous lighting and cool location, perfect for brunch! The staff were all so nice and came to check in on us and inspire us with insight in their beautiful culture! We will be coming back 😋”

“When I came to Beginings treatment center I was lost and the staff there helped me find myself and find peace with myself. From day 1 they treated me like family and that’s what they became to me, they taught me the tools and the skills to beat this disease I have inside me and how to keep it from ruining my future. My care team was amazing, they helped me figure out a plan to be able to keep moving forward with my sobriety and how to deal with the bad days when I have those urges or cravings and to be honest I can’t remember the last time I was craving something. I love everyone there at Beginings and I hope to be able to return on my 1 year anniversary and see everyone there. So I will leave on this note if you or someone you know that needs help battling addiction, don’t hesitate, pick up the phone and give them a call you won’t regret it for anything. They helped save and change my life.”

“UPDATE: I have notice that they now have a cleaning person and the restrooms and gym are clean now. Always clean! I will update if needed Original post: I am not one to complain but on Friday night I went to the gym and the ladies locker room was filthy. I continued to go in hopes of it being cleaned. I went Saturday and Sunday and the ladies locker room continued to get even worse. A whole weekend has gone by and the mess was still there, this is disgusting and for the price paid it should be cleaned. Go here cause it is less than a mile away from my house come October I will be not renewing and just get 24 Hour Fitness. I would never recommend this gym to anyone.”

“Price = ~$15 / service= average / cleanliness = average / vibe = "hole in the wall", historic mom and pop style / parking = enough, not too much, not too little I ordered the chicken teriyaki entree (I cannot do spice so scurrred to try) that costs around $15 which is a good deal in LA, especially, for the portion you get. This is an unassuming, hole in the wall, that gives some nostalgia to the mall Sarku Japan days in high and middle school in NJ. This place is one of those finds that I like where you get inexpensive and good food for a great experience. I Love Teriyaki looks like it has been there since the olden days of LA metro. The vibe you get is one of those classic spots and the food delivers more than as well. The flavor of the teriyaki sauce is a perfect blend of savory and umami and reminds me of a far better Sarku Japan / chicken teriyaki dish. If you are looking for a homemade taste but quality chicken teriyaki with sauce...look no further. In addition, the sauce in the salad just further blends together with the chicken teriyaki and teriyaki sauce in the rice! Be prepared to be extremely full if you plan to finish this dish in one sitting. BONUS POINTS in taking a stroll after this delicious meal! In walking around town, it gives off a kind of old Western vibe (coming from someone who lived and explored Dallas-Fort Worth metro (DFW) a good amount), almost cowboy-like but you are in California so that does not make sense...this part of El Segundo must have kept its history and gives you such a different feeling than the newer, bougie, fun, and other areas in LA metro. Definitely check out this part of Main St. if you are looking for something different in LA metro.”
