“Great place to spend a day on the river ! The water is clean and clear you can see the fish and the bottom of the river . You can also camp or rent Cabins. The only problem I have is cabins have a 2 day minimum on weekends. After 1 river trip in a Canoe you dont want to go the next day usually.”

“The family had a pitch in meal here and I have never been to this park but lemme tell you, there's a good amount of stuff to do here with your family. There's swimming, fishing, and my favorite, the quaintest little petting zoo. Most of the animals look taken care of, my concern was the cow with how thin it looked but I'm not knowledgeable on cows so I didn't ask much. For your next spring or summer family gathering or whatever event, this park is great. Most of the shelters even have electric hookups.”

“This was a fun place to visit in Madison! Dennis let us taste some really delicious wine, a vodka, and then we walked around the garden with a wine slushy. Very welcome on this hot summer day. We will definitely go back!”

“This beach is amazing! It's great for the whole family including me and my two sets of twins!!! Emma and Michael, Annabelle and Johnny are begging me to go back this year! I plan to go this weekend! I searched up the pics from last year and I'm sharing the amazing experience with You! The parking is easy. Bathrooms are standard beach bathrooms, so bring flip flops to walk in there when you wash up. The shower water was cold. That was the only thing that they could enhance on. A better bathroom experience when cleaning up after a day at the beach.”

“Lovely hidden-away gem for fishing, 3 easy hiking, picnics and just general time spent in nature. The hiking signs are not the most clear, but we also didn't have any trouble finding our way back to the car. Accessible bathrooms and plenty of parking. Don't forget bugspray!”

“Visiting Scout during summer camp! Beautiful facility! Enjoying the great outdoors of our 1200 acres. Finally get to enjoy the laughter of our scouts as they shoot bb guns and bow and arrows. Of course the waterfront is always a big hit!!”

“Great place to come camp. Two fishing spots, a nice game room, and pool. Only downfall is the restroom near the tent sites was very small, old and needed a good cleaning from ceiling to floors but other than that it's a great place for families to go and relax outdoors!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐😁👍🏼”

“Nice little park next to Sylvan Lake. Has some older playground equipment and a nice long walkway down by the water. It goes clear over to the boat ramp and you can even go right up to Sundaes on Sylvan from there! Also has basketball courts, but they might not be available as the court doubles as the parking lot.”

“Has an amazing beach for summer swimming, hiking, exploring, and cooking out! Water is pretty nice and clean and not real mucky on your feet! Got a few trails that have a great lakeside view. Private pull offs with grills to cook on. Hiking trails are easily accessible and not too rough on the feet or body. All in all Hardee lake has much more to offer, especially if you have a boat, but it's a great place for those who don't as well. Highly recommended! Great for the whole family! Two thumbs up 👍👍”

“Beautiful Park I would say intermediate hiking trails because it wore me out, absolutely gorgeous scenery and would visit again in a heartbeat! Super cool waterfalls that you can climb into pretty much.”

“Love pitching a tent here for the weekend with the kids. The trails are awesome, water is awesome, so much beauty in a park. The only drawback is the rocks in the water at the beach. Other than that we always have a great time here”

“We love Quakertown Marina! Jim, and Angie are great! The staff is always very helpful, and the rental prices for the pontoon boats is very reasonable! We had a great day on the lake, and will be back hopefully before the season is over! I recommend bringing a cooler full of drinks, and food for your time on the lake, since the only place I know of to eat is pretty pricey. If your looking for a fun day with the family, and you love being on the water you’ll love it!”

“I only came here to play disc golf but overall it looked like a very nice park. It had a basketball court, playground, splash pad, a nice walking trail all the way around, baseball fields, and lots of open room. The course was also very fun. A good mix of technical holes with some longer open ones as well. Kudos to the course designer for using Mandos well. Definitely made the course more interesting, challenging, and fun. The picture is of hole 18. Probably can't see it but the hanging basket is an awesome way to end the course”

“This is a Floyd County treasure. Admittedly, it is somewhat of a hassle to become a member. A member must first get a county dog license. This is done with a form, proof of rabies, and proof of spay/neuter and microchip number for a life license. Since our microchip number was not registering, this took two trips and an additional fee to the chip company, Avid. Then you had to make an appointment with the Parks and Recreation Department at a different facility. At the appointment, you had to have a 30 minute in service on the rules, fill out forms, and pay the fees for each dog. We chose life licenses for both. So the fees were $105. for the first dog for life. It is a little less for each additional dog. Once those hoops were jumped, we have a glorious place to allow our dogs to swim and romp. It is a huge, very secure facility. There are water bowls, a water source, a pond for swimming, poop bags, and receptacles provided. It is an age 13 and over facility. So it is less worrisome to allow dogs off leashes, as small children are not there to make skittish dog owners worry. Our family uses the park several times a week.”

“Great little place to bring your pet and let them run around. The area has a partition to help keep larger and smaller dogs apart. Also has a walking/jogging trail next to it.”

“Moderate trail up and down this short trail. The GPS showed us off the trail when we were on and then on the trail when we were on the side of the road. Could be signal. But definitely became frustrating when it almost had us go onto private property. Good thing we paid attention.”

“Second time we’ve done a pheasant hunt. First one was in Ohio last year. Comparison - NONE!! The way the folks at Sugar Creek set you up is about as real as it gets to a true hunting experience vs just harvesting birds at the other place. Gabe and his gigs were awesome!!! Great dude. This is our spot from here on out!!!! Fantastic experience.”

“Peaceful and lots of equipment for the biggest of crowds. This aquatic center is so much nicer than anywhere I've been! My daughter and I had a wonderful time today! We will be back (😉a lot).”
