Roshi Kjolhede and his Dharma heirs masterfully run 2, 4, and 7 day sesshins in an integrated zen style, bringing together the best aspects of the Soto and Rinzai Zen Schools. I just finished my first 7 day sesshin and I know I will be back. I cannot recommend this location enough for your first, or next sesshin. After being released, Dr. Vezza saw me regularly, took his time with me to check other underlying issues. Extremely thorough good looking calming great bed side manner and charming. He is a dog lover like me. His office staff is outstanding! Clean convenient Roslyn location. If I could give Dr. Vezza 10 stars I would. This man restored my faith in the medical system. These are longtime members of our community who will never sell you anything you don't need, have always been completely honest, and know what they're doing as far as car repairs, simple and complex. “We rented a private room for a birthday celebration. We used up about 15 minutes of our time talking with the hostess and putting in drink orders and that took about 15 minutes to arrive. I think she was the only hostess working multiple rooms and helping at the bar. But the frozen margaritas were good. Very strong according to the drinkers in the party. The music selection was decent and sound system great. We didnt get any food. My only suggestion for improvement is with the floors. They were so sticky that i almost fell over when i had been standing in one spot for a few minutes and then went to move and only one foot came off the floor. I got a laugh and a helping hand from my son but, i think a strong cleaning solution to clean up those drink spills is needed. 🙂. All told we were happy with our night and would definitely return.”
