“This was our third stop in Mt Airy to compare cheeseburgers with chili, mustard and slaw. We were getting full from the other burgers we sampled, so we split one at this location. Speedy Chef was the only restaurant that used a char-grill vs a flat top griddle, so the burger had an outdoor cooked flavor and crispy edges. We liked that. We also noticed the cheese was more melty on this burger than the other two locations we tried. The chili and the burger had a good flavor, but the slaw needed to be chopped a bit finer for my tastes. We also tried the hot fudge cake while there…and it was delicious. There are plenty of tables and chairs and since it wasn’t very busy, it wasn’t noisy inside. There is plenty of parking. Overall, a solid place for a cheeseburger and worth a try. We decided this Speedy Chef had the second-best cheeseburger in Mt Airy.”

“Love the fries! Text is crisp and they are unsalted. Ketchup and salt are available upon request. I had the Carolina Bull Burger (chili, slaw, cheese, burger). Mixed feelings. The slaw was well made, a little tangy, and flavorful. The chili wasn’t disgusting but it had almost no flavor or seasoning. It was pretty unappealing taste and texture wise. I will try this place again but get a regular burger. Service: someone else mentioned this is a training store. People waited a long time for a chance to order (even if no one was in front of them) and a long time to receive the order. The cashier seemed to also be the trainer (or just the most knowledgeable) so he had to stand in the kitchen and help/supervise the people preparing food. So while food is being prepared, no one is at the front taking orders.”

“This little market has all of the essentials that you forgot to pack for your beach house. It is a godsend considering the closest larger grocery stores are a bit of a drive away. If there's something that you forgot to pack (soap, detergent, ingredients), this place will have it . They even have some ready-made meals and a pastry area. Seriously this place has everything that you could possibly need to make it at least a night (if not the rest of your stay) until you get to a full service grocery store the next day.”

The food is usually always good. I have been a few times throughout the years and have had bad service while in the drive thru, but I don't let 1 or 2 people keep me from returning somewhere I enjoy. I'm not sure how management keeps up with how some employees act or carry themselves while working, I know customers can sometimes be hard to deal with here and there, but customers should never be mistreated when coming to spend money at any establishment. But again, that doesn't speak for everyone at Bojangles or the quality of the food. I went last week with my daughter for brunch and we enjoyed everything we ordered.”

I was only able to empty my coffee cup once. She was on top of topping off the coffee. The coffee itself was amazing, S&D brand and it is perfectly balanced. I will be looking for it on my grocery shelf. I asked Tracey for her favorite thing on the menu and got an amazing feast. Biscuit and gravy, fried porkchops, scrambled with cheese, country potatoes with cheese and fresh chopped onions. I only added a pancake. I would eat here again, daily if I could.”
